MassMffect Q & A @ Gamespy
Yeha; but Llyr wants novels. Me? i'm in between. I'd much prefer to read exactly what my PC is gonna say. That's my main beef with the dialogue, thus far.

"That's because not all fans are as honest as you Vol." I think you missed the point. I menat if the player swere brutally honest, the fans likely would have been amongst the 'worst things' about their job. Heh.

MassMffect Q & A @ Gamespy
Nah. Just a fanboy geek who knows too much espicially consideirng I don't even post on the ME baords all that much. In fact, I probably have more ME related posts here then there. Anyways, having the ability to choose how the PC can act in as many different ways as possible is always the better option.

MassMffect Q & A @ Gamespy
"For example, in ME, the player always has three options." Actually, it has a minimum of 3 options. The dialogue circle can have up to 6 options.

NHL
Some of thema r epretty obvious. Some reasons likely include: Too small (Carolina), too much media attention (NY/TOR), team sucks (STL), team is always cosntantly threatening to move (PIT), instability (fits the other one) (PIT/BUF), overshadowed by a team close by (NJ), etc., etc.

"Well, we're facing Atlanta (on away ice) and Pittsburgh (at home) for our next two games. Not exactly teams to sneer at either. I have a feeling we'll lose both." Nah. They'll win at least one of those. Toronto is playing well. Might even be able to reach the play offs.

Games you are looking forward to
2007 Games: Mass Effect. Possibly Dragon Age. NWN2 Expansion. Madden 2008.

Are you disappointed with Obsidian?
"And K1 wouldn't run without crashing before a patch." Not true. For both KOTORs. "Ending != good ending." True; but KOTOR's ending was good. And, KOTOR2's ending was better - at least more 'complete' - than people think.

An Act of War?
Nah. They'll be released after some haggling within a month. I don't see anything major coming out of this.

Just like your post is. L0L Anyways, that's ok. If BIO makes the 'same old crap'; I'll happily play the game. R00fles!

An Act of War?
Iran already started it by attacking British soliders, and taking them as prisoners. It all depends on how much British wants to push back. Probably not that much, most likely.

MassMffect Q & A @ Gamespy
"Isn't that screenshot from the RPGCodex fake interview? Or was it a genuine screenshot?" As Maria pointed out, it's fake. BIO has alreayd said there should be at least 3 distinct dialogue choices for most scenarios: the aggresive, over the top one that Commander Shepard is now famous for (heh), the semi passive, calm voice (more goodie-goodie), and the the inquisitive/curious type. Don't let photo shop fake screenshots fool yeah though it's done well enoguh to be sneaky. Bets way to figure out what a real screenshot is; is go to the official site or a professional game site like IGN or Gamespot (but not on April 1st, lol). Screenshot is well done; though. I'll give 'em that.

An Act of War?
"Iran has a standing army much larger and more advanced than what Iraq had in 1991 or 2003. Britain would not have a chance on their own, and the U.S is too economicly stretched to handle both the rebuilding of Iraq and mount a full-scale war in Iran no matter how much theyd like to. " You assume there'd be a ground invasion. There likely wouldn't be. Nor would it have to be full scale. Iraq (and even Afghanistan to a lesser extent) was different because the itnent all along was to take control fo the country, albeit, temporary. In this case, it would be a show of power to make sure Iran doesn't do soemthing this again. "not to mention the first thing Iran would do in a war would be to 'liberate Iraq from the occupation of USA' US trooops couldn't stand their ground there against the iranian masses, and many iraquis would also join their side" 1. The US troops have superior fire power. It's not just about numbers. iraqi army had millions of soldiers to compared to the US' 100k + 50k from allies. It didn't help them. And, yeah, many Iraqis would likely join the Iranians. And, many wouldn't. And, many more still would stand back and not do anything to either side. Iran would be absolutely retarded to doa full scale invasion of Iraq. All that said,... a) I'd rather not see war - full scale or not. b) 15 soliders is likely not enough for Britain to go to war. c) 15 soldiers is likely not enough for Iran to go. There's very little to gain for either side.

MassMffect Q & A @ Gamespy
HAHA! Not very pleasant, is he? Yeah, hopefully, you have options to be a tad more calm then that. Where's the option of:"Yes, tell me the enw orders." Hehe. That dialogue screen needs one more option added then it be cool..

An Act of War?
"Nations had enough of USA making wars, but Uk making a war and then his ally (USA) joining would be a new version of the story." Iran is making the war here; not Britain.

MassMffect Q & A @ Gamespy
Neither have I. All we can do is make educated guess on what we know about the game and our experience playing games. Nothing wrong with that. Afterall, that's how *anyone* decides whether not a game is worthy of even playing. And, that even goes for those who think ME will suck. *shrug* It's all good.

MassMffect Q & A @ Gamespy
Short; but mysterious video: "It sounds a lot like KOTOR with a different combat system." In some ways, yes, but it's also vastly supeiror to KOTOR in every way unless you are a SW fanatic. Wasn't Jagged Allinace turn base? ME isn't... I don't think it's trying to be JE combat wise, and definiitely not rpg wise. I do have some worries about the game, however....

Are you disappointed with Obsidian?
Meh. Neither ending was THAT horrible. It kinda fits the entire game(s), IMO.

MassMffect Q & A @ Gamespy
http://xbox360.gamespy.com/xbox-360/mass-e...t/776248p1.html The focus on this interview was mainly non combat stuff including something long suspected but now confirmed. This quote wins all: "There are lots of non-combat abilities as well, which can affect your ability to intimidate or persuade those that you talk to." ME will be awesome. It will no doubt, no matter how bad it is, be sueprior in EVERY WAY to KOTOR. Up with ME! Down with KOTOR! ME > KOTOR

An Act of War?
Except the true ruler of Iran isn't an elected official. And, the one that ws elected had lots of helping including mucho intimidation, an outright outlawing of certain candidates that were seen as threats to the ruling powers. R00fles!
-
An Act of War?
Most definitely an act of war. And, Britain's friends including the US should join them if it goes that far. I doubt it though. I don't think Britain has the ballz to go that far. Also, Iran gave evidenced that the British follk weren't in their waters... then subsequently refuted their own evidence with new evidenced after they were politely informed that their evidenced proved that the Brits wer ein iraq waters. R00fles!

R00fles! Of course, it doesn't help when you give up 5 2nd period goals. <>
