Heh. Well, I presume how you play your character (female or otherwise) will be up to you 9wityhin the limits of the choices of course). Sand can play his own character in ME. He's not forced to play a certain way. And, while more BG chocies are always nice; BIO probably went with this smaller number so they cna be used mor eoften. Probably why DA only has a handful of backgrounds as well (but, of course, DA's BGs all come with their very own prologue *and* potential nemesis, IIRC).
-
Hmph.. Then why was there bragging about how awesome this game would be in shaming actual RPG companies? I remember BIOshock fans laughing at how BIOshock would have more actual rping than BIO, Betehsda, and Obsidian games combined? L0LLERZ Seriosuly, the game still sounds like it cna be fun. The atmosphere looks cool anyways. Are the controls reasonable?
-
L0L Not quite; but you probably can act like one... Your BG choices consist of 1 of the following: spacer, colonist, or earthborn and soul survivor, ruthless, or war hero For you, you'd likely choose 'ruthless spacer'.
-
So... how is the role-playing to everyone for this game?
-
Did you read it? ME's characetr creation is more than face gen. It has backgrounds ( two different choices) which effect how others interatc with you. True, it's one thing to read ana rticle about it's 'rpgness' than to see it in action. The point is ME is not just about combat. Not even close. What will your background(s) be? I'll be an 'Earthborn War hero'.

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/816/816533p1.html For 'just' an Action RPG that people accuse of being nothing more than a glorified 'shooter'; it has it's shae of role-playing ideas like how characetr abckground actually influences others' reactions to you, and how the player can shape the story. Great read. Coolio beanios.

Idaho "family values" Senator Larry Craig is a gaylord
Volourn replied to Pop's topic in Way Off-Topic
It wasn't over the tea, really. It was over being taxed; but noit really being represented in British politics while still having to follow British laws. The tea tax was an excuse. As for the topic, big whoop. So some guy just wanted to get lucky. *yawn* -
People will whine about Vick; but they'lls till watch the games. That is all that matters. Vick will be back playing football in 3 years (he'll be 30 sos till capable) unless NFl goes overboard, and people will still watch him play. People forget, and forgive these things. One NFL GM (unnamed of coruse) has alreayd stated that Vick will likely get lots of offers from NFL teams hwne he comes. Though, he is (obviously) done with the Falcons. I should point out though I don't approve of what Vick did. His actions - whatever the extent they are - are disgusting to me. He deserves to face whatever punishment he has coming.

Other Thread: I don't think he should be banned for live. He pleaded guilty, and he should get whatever penalty the courts feel he should get as a 1st time convicted felon. He should be suspended by the NFL for, at minium, whatever the amount of prison time he gets which should start when he gets out. So, if he gets 12 months prison time, he should be suspended for a year. Not a season. An actual calender year. But, banning him for life is too much. It's his first conviction, and he deserves a second chance. Period. And, from the NFL's stand point, it only helps them marketing wise to have someone as successful as Vick as he brings in the money and the fan no matter what the judgemental punks think. As for his crimes, he need psychological help. I'm no huge pet lover (or hater); but the sort of abuse inflicted on these animals is beyond the pail. It's disgusting!

Why is the NWN2 modding scene so.... meh?
Volourn replied to Monte Carlo's topic in Computer and Console
"The difference between the IE games and the NWN games is that NWN games aren't made to let you modify the existing OC but to make your own adventures from scratch. You can make custom items, new NPCs, and the like but in your own module." You can edit the OCs if you want. Nothing is stopping you. -
My perosnal computer has been out of workings for a couple of months now. Before then, i wa sstill playing NWN1, and once I get it back up 9this week it looks like), I'll be playing it again. NWN 4 EVAR!

You cna't mean Jen, right? It must be Waaaaaaaaaaamber you are speaking off? Or maybe "It's So Frustrating" Danielle. L0L Jen is awesome. Way more classy than a woman who cheats on her boyfriend on national tv or a 'man' like 'Evil' who treats his daughter so horribly she avoids him for 2+ years. HAHA! GO JEN GO! Azure, yeah, it's on CBS. Or CTV in Canada.
-
Azure, I'm surprised you haven't heard of BB. It's in it's 8th season. of course, it's not a hugely popular show like Survivor. It's a mildly successful summer show. It's my favorite reality show though. It's not perfect, of course, and I can see why some wouldn't like it. I do, though. I like the competitive part of; but the nastiness cna be taken to the extremes which I dislike. I like the hot babes too.
-
Yeah, that was a very silly moment. You can't help but laugh and roll your eyes on that one. Heh.

Never said otherwise. *shrug*

I love this show. I don't care if you consider it 'trashy'; it's sweet entertainment. Don't like this show, whine if you must; but it's best to start your own topic on a favorite issue of yours. Thank you. Anyways, this season has been good thus far. Favorite HG - Jen. She is eaSIly the best Reality TV personality ever. A great combination of beauty, intelligence, toughness, and humour. Poeple claim she is too 'vain', and while she can be; no more than any other HG. Plus, **** doesn't phase her even when he tries to intimidate her, paw at her, or sexcually harasses her. Worst HG - ****. the guy is a punk. He treats his daughter like crap, ignores what she says, and then proceeds to ask her what she wnats from him when she's already told him - she wnats him to stop being mean. It's not complicated. And, we also can't forget about his constant disucssion of raping certain female HGs up the butt until they bleed, his constant bragging of all the famous people he 'knows', his part in accusing Zach of being a 'child molestor' or by his telling the biggest lie ever - that is his claim that he doesn't lie. L0L He lies *all* the time like every HG. Eveyrthing is about **** - even his love and seeking of love from his duaghter is all about ****'s feelings, wants, and desires. Danielle is just a tool for him to feel better. Other Top HG - Jessica (though her fued with Carol was lame, $5 lol) she is funny!), Jameka (though her race drama "boo hoo! i've never been around so many white people before, boo hoo! needs to go!; but overall she is very likeable), Nick, Kail and Zack. Other Dislikeable HG: Dustin (I used to like him a lot; but he's now shown his true punk levels ever since his ex left), Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaambur! ('nough said). Neutrals: Eric(he's funny; but he's a snake too), and Danielle (I feel for her over her poor excuse of a father; but her playing games with Nick is lame). The Eliminated: Mike (I like him; but he didn't last long), Joe (what a punk; I kinda wish he wa sin the house still because I thought Dustin was actually a good guy then), and Carol (liked her due to her reaction of shrugged shoulders over her feud. GO JEN GO! Any thoughts by fellow BB8 watchers? P.S. The stars is the guy's name. Let's call him Evil from now on. L0L Darn censors! HA!

Yup, my dad is one of the victims here. He has many illnesses because of working in the mines.. Yet, he is still in decent shape for a near 60 year working, and volunteering. For the topic, good luck to the trapped miners!

People who hate Amerika, and try to pretend that Amerika is the most evil country evil ever are stupid. Plain, and simple. Harsh, and sad but truthful and honest.

Infogrames-Atari Extends D&D Game Rights To 2017
Volourn replied to funcroc's topic in Computer and Console
DnD rules all no matter the variation. And, none of them were ever 'clunky'. Game over. -
I forget what (if any) response I had for your long term rpediction. And, while it's true, that you may be right about that, trying to predict the future in such a way is just illogical. It could go either way long term. That said, I seriously doubt that Falcon attendance will be all that much negatively effected if Vick is playing come opening day. That said, I would not be surprised if the NFL/Falcons suspend him for the season. And, if they do, if he is found innocent, I hope he sues them for as much as he can. P.S. I know a certain sect of fans think different than me. Afterall, everyone feels differently about everything. Bonds from baseball, and Kobe from basketball are just examples. Remember, Kobe was accused of RAPING a woman, which most people would believe is worse than what Vick is accused of (though, to me, the disgusting aspect of both are just beyond the pale) yet he got to play with not even a hint of a suspension, the NBA continued to make tons of money of him, and life went on. Imagine if the NBA had suspended/fired him and then he was found innocent like he was... WOW! Of cours,e NBA vs. NFL is the real story here. Players in the NFL have basically no power as their union, comparitively speaking, is rather weak. The NBA would 100% not suspend Vick unless they had no doubts that he committed the acts he's accused of while the moronic commissioner of the NFL might very well do so despite the fact NOTHING has been proven, and he's on some sort of power trip.
-
"According to Volo, the NFL shouldn't be allowed to behave in a similar manner, even though its business depends entirely on its perception in the eyes of the general public." If you go 'by the eyes of the public' then they have no reason to suspend or fire him then because everyone knows that a guy like Vick puts people in the seats, and sells a lot of merchandise (which they'll likely continually pocket even if they suspend/fire him). Plus, it should be common knowledge that the public is retarded. These are the same people who immorally bash Bonds yet voted him into the ASG and every time he is at bat - no matter the ball park - take out their camera to take a picture of a potential homerun or beg him for autographs. The NFL viewing public want one thing - to watch great football with great players which Vick is one. No matter how much they whine about a 'lack of morality'. They don't care about that. Afterall, I wonde rhow many Bengal fans stayed away from their games last year despite thier team being a bunch of criminals. Sadly, the NFL player has very little power despite the amount of money they make so according to the contracts (which aren't worth their paper they're written on), the elague is within their rights to suspend/fire players for pretty much anything if they so choose. As opposed to, say, the NBA who fully allowed Kobe Bryant to play the netire season decided being indicted on rape charges which last i checked are rather serious. And, oh, btw, despite the rape charges, Bryant was still a huge draw in the NBA so obviously NBA fans weren't turned off by it. Imagaine if they had suspended him before the trial wasover considering he was found innocent. Imagine if the NFL suspends Vick now, and it later turns out that he is innocent. Talk about poo poo. That said, don't get me wrong. The more I hear, the more I think Vick is guilty, and if he is, I hope he gets the book thrown at him. I just not rather it be done hastily by the NFL. That is all.
-
Godell should worry about being the commisioner of the NFL, and not a judge. If it wans't for these players; he wouldn't even have a job. The players, and teams make the league successful. The commisioner does not. Godell is a scumbag. P.S. NEWSFLASH: Vick hasn't been found guilty yet. Godell should let the law do it's job.
