"I agree. Obsidian tries to survive by taking jobs that none else will." This is silly. develoeprs would jump at a chance at doings equels like NWN2, KOTOR2, FO3.5, and DS3. These are all sequels to million + selling games, and are guaranteed to sell. It's pretty much a fact that if CDProject was offered a game like NWN2 they would have dumped TW and done it in a heartbeat. Obsidian just got NWN2 and KOTOR2 because of Urquhart's connections with BIO as once BIO passed on the sequels to do their own IPs they recommended their buddies. FO3.5 was for obvious reasons - connection to FO. And, DS3 was probably done b/c of Obsidian's rep for successfuls equels based on others' properties. This idea, btw, that Obsidian is just like Troika is just plain dumb. Outside of their limited co connection to BIS/Interplay and they both make RPGs they have little in common. Might as well call Obsidian BIO 3.0 (and Troika BIO 2.0) since BIO has the same connections. L0L

Sounds like xbox live episodic dlc type game... in other words, sounds lame. Might eventually pick it up if bored, but otherwise, meh. Not a true game. But, if it has time traveling dwarves in it.... I might have to go gaga over it. R00fles!

That's because they had the wrong publisher. Interplay/BIS were joking around at the time and pretty much ready to keel over.

They have very little similarities outside the obvious 'ropg developer' and 'headed by a handful of former BISers'.

Yeah, but KOTOR2 suffers with subpar combat (like KOTOR1), and LV suffers from being FO3.5.... And, DA2 is way better than KOTOR2. Haven't played FO3.5 yet so can't judge it too harshly but, it *is* FO3.5.... *shudder*

No. MMO is being done in a different country. Yeah, computers and internet, but I still doubt it. There's probably some small overlap; but not major. EA wants BIO to release 1-2 games a year. That's what happens. I dislike the resused maps but the writing, story, and characters which ar ebetter than DA1 more than make up for it.

Obsidian is not BIS. DEATH TO BIS! LONG LIVE OBSIDIAN!
