">Insists that we use our imagination > Proceeds to try to reinvigorate a 160+ year story line neglecting key facts. Bhall's plan of resurrection was to use his children to come back, but he wanted the strongest to survive. Problem being they ended up killing each other this stopping his plans. Meanwhile Bane does the same thing and succeeds, because he actually came back prior to 5e. Bhall would have no children of a reasonable age to **** with, and would have no reason to. " EPIC FAIL. There's nothing imaginative about that. It's not like the Forgotten Realms dont have two Gods that have tried to **** over the world for petty reasons...

Lack of imagination continues. For shame. You guys are not fans of fantasy, rpogs, or imagination if you can't think of even one way to continue the story. "5e has Bhaal come back to life irrespective of his spawn surviving." There you go. This gives an easy open to continue the Bhaalspawn saga. Bhaal is goinga round 'collecting' his kiddies (by murdering them as the God of Murder do). You play a Bhaalspawn who may or may not know he/she is one... and has to deal with it. early on, you start getting 'visions' and some 'powers' while dealing with some local crisis (or creating it).. and eventually you gotta deal with daddy. Not neccesarily directly since he's a god. Maybe you a priest of a god so it isn't as simple as him outright murdering you but maybe even trying o corrupt you in mysterious ways. Use the 'ol imagination. Or simple. BG3 takes place in BG3 and the old Bhaal temple underneath eventually plays into it... Perhaps an Avatar of Bhaal is using it to suck the souls of Bhaalspawn that it somehow draws there. WHO KNOWS. I.M.A.G.I.N.A.T.I.O.N. IMAGINE THAT.

Any gov't that tries to stop people from participating in Halloween ise vil and deserves to be destroyed. Seriously. Fines and jail time? GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE NAZIS. That means if you are 15 year old or even a 10 year old after 8pm) are risking being raped by the 'justice 'system' because they get butthurt over you asking for candy. HOLY MOLY.

"To play the devil's advocate for 5 seconds. I am surprised nobody brought up Fallout: New Vegas as an argument. You may have heard about the company that made it. Mechanically, it has nothing to do with FO1 or FO2, but it's very much a proper Fallout 3 game for a lot of fans, myself very much included. And it was a distant sequel to an old franchise. The catch is - New Vegas was a lightning in a bottle. People that made it were extremely passionate about the franchise and wanted to make the best Fallout they can - unlike Bethesda with their Fallout 3. So, theoretically, you can make an awesome BG sequel without any of the 'nostalgic' attachments. You just need right, passionate people for the job. But what are the real chances that you will recieve a cynical, soulless cashgrab instead?" I know not everyone likes it, but WL2 is another good example. But, these two are the exceptions to the rule. Just look at BT4 - made by the people who did WL2 - yet it just spits in the face of BT. I look forward to BG3 as long as it is done in the same spirit. It is why like PF:KM so much despite the many many many many many many many bugs. It is a hoMeage to the BG series. Also, again, anyone who claims that the BG series' 'story' is over and there can't be a continuation absolutely have no imagination whatsoever. And, I say, if you lack i9magination, go play some crap game like Twitcher or Sorrowwine. P.S. Beamdog are poopyheads and anyone who likes them are poopyheads. BD doesn't know what the IE games are about. At all. It is why their work on them is pure ****.

Magic Missile is good as one of a sorcerer's first-level spells, but I don't recommend it as one of your first picks -- it just doesn't do much when your character is level 1. Something with crowd control would be a better option to start with (I haven't gotten far enough in the game to say what would be best)." Burtning hands is a good magic missle 'alternatvie' at level 1 mage multiple enemies and the existence of spider swarms. Sleep/Colour spray are also almost 'insta encounter' win versus low level enemies though the higher level you are the more worthless they are. And, ya, for today's update. I get to actually load my saves and play the game. L0L -
"There is nothing revolutionary about Baldurs Gate, it didn't revolutionize anything in the games industry. I mean, it did introduce alot of things that had never been done in an rpg but let's face it, Jrpg's were already doing all the good stuff better than IE games ever did. The linearity of the Jrpg pushed storytelling to a place where IE games never did, other genres like Arpg birthed Diablo which basically made combat in an isometric rpg fun and useful. In short, Games like FF7, Diablo and Witcher 3 revolutionized the industry while Baldurs Gate did not in any way. I love that Crpg genre is back now though, it's nice to see games that don't use the horrid D&D systems which were my main gripe with IE games back in our hay days. It's not that I didn't enjoy the games as much as anyone else, I just give credit where it's due. I'm hoping that BG3 will fix those mistakes that BG1&2 had with storytelling, combat, boring companions and please God... Please don't let us hear really bad voice acting with "memorable" lines like "You must gather your party before venturing forth". If they accomplish fixing these things, it can be great! " FAKE NEWS.

"You're the type of person who won't admit to the faults of BG 1+2 and the fact of the horrible mechanics and the writing that felt like it was written by a kid that didn't finish high school. So take off the nostalgic blinders for a second and lend an ear, heed my words! I know it's harder to enjoy games because as we get older, less things surprise us, we lose our imagination, we're less gullible too but it's time to change the oil daddy-o and use that ole noggin." "If party encounters a Goblin for the first time, the party knows only this:" FAKE NEWS thanks to giving a poor example. Goblins are so common that most people would know what they are instantly. LMAO "If we're talking PnP, enemy weaknesses and strengths always had to be completely transparent as you were doing the maths yourself, and the 'figuring out' bit was dictated by being clever, not by purposefully obscuring rules. If me and my DM did a roll which a monster would fail and then the DM would proclaim "A-HA! But the monster has a hidden power!" I'd smack him and you would too." FAKE NEWS. Also, you show yourself to be a violent psychopath for slapping someone over not getting enough info about a DnD monster. LMAO -
Anyone who thinks it can't be a 'continuation' of the original BG saga are on crack and have no imagination. There are TONS of ways to do so. Not that they'd go that way, of coruse, but it is easily done. Idelaly, it would like KM except in 5E and 'higher end' graphics (I like KMG graphics as is).

I'll one up. I won't vote for anyone in the mid terms.

Beamdog is ****. everything they do is ****. I'm no CDPR fan, but they'd do better with BG3 than Barfdog.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The tears are gonna be sweet!

"They do in Trumpland." yeha, because the whole 'cop issue' started when Trump was elected. LMAO

"I am kinda perplexed as to how this game is succeeding where pillars 2 did not so much (okay so we dont have official sales figures, but at least on steam pathfinder looks to be doing better than PoE 2 did). I mean, they are both appealing to a similar audience. Pillars 2 was critically acclaimed upon release, yet pathfinder had next to no reviews when released, so customers didnt have anything to go off of before purchasing the game. Maybe opinions of people who played the beta? The reviews i've seen for pathdfinder are not glowing either. Initial user reviews also seemed worse for pathfinder, citing bugs and balancing issues. However at this moment in time Pathfinder still hangs around the top 10 in steam when I'm sure PoE2 disappeared in less than a week. the steam review count is already more for pathfinder. The game has 17000 people playing right now (granted I cant recall the peak numbers for people playing PoE2). So why is this? Is it because its the first game under the pathfinder ruleset? The gameplay in general? Please don't misunderstand my post though, I don't want Pathfinder to fail, in fact I will be picking it up at some point most likely. I just want to see Pillars succeed as well." Russian hacking. More seriously, the game is simply better and more importantly, they are targeting a specifici audience while PE tries to please 'everyone'[ and fails. Both games want to piggyback on the popularity of BG yet only PF actually gets what BG is about. I say this and I like both PEs but it is clearly that PF was made by people who actually like the IE games. P.S. In more important news, finally got the latest pathes to work by 'repairing' the install. LMAO Now hopefully the game works. L0L p.s.s. Clearly, though, PE series has way less bugs and technical issues. <> Not surprising considering their a mainstream company with lots of employees. -
Does it, though? Dogs are notorious for being whiners.

"Come on hurlie, didn't you repeatedly say you loved beer and start crying when you got interviewed to be a teacher? " Wa she also accused of being a rapist, had his name that he worked on for deaces dragged through the mud, and his children/family threatened with murder and rape? Nah. Didn't think so. He likely had an interview that went over his qualifications and so the principle/hiring person got a feel for him and got a yay or nay (yay obviously since he's a teacher) and that was. So the same thing. I sure never had any interview like this. LMAO
-
"Yeah, that's what sticks with me. This job interview has gone terrible but they seem pretty dead set on giving him the job." The senators decide if the interview went well or not through their votes. The problem here none of these interviewers;/voters give a crap about facts. The only thing that matters is what party he 'belongs to'. the Dems and Repubs already made up their minds. Outside of actual indisputable evidence one way or another they were going to vote the way they were going t vote. This likely comes down to 5 senators - 2 dems and 3 repubs - and likely down to the two woman republicans who haven't officially in publicly stated how theya re gonna vote. If both vote no he likely gets the job. If both say no, he's out. The job intervierw went very well which is likely when the dems pushed this last second hail mary accusation. if you think it was just a coincidence you are delusional.
-
"Just checking a box so they can pretend they've done their due diligence when they vote for him as they were going to do anyway" Or against. Both parties are to blame. And, the FBI deserves a lot of **** too. 6 previous FBI investigations turned up nothing. If he is actually guilty, they did a piss poor job investigating him over the years.
