  1. They aren't meaningful. Only those who voted in it who have an inflated self worth about their silly opinion think a handful of voters online mater in the grand scheme.
  2. Uh no. It was no BG but it wasn't 'abysmally low' either.
  3. "ps:t were well loved by many (enough to make the new planescape kickstarter project better funded than pe btw)" But, not enough to match the success of BG1 despite it being hyped by the same 'creators' (lol, BIS, lol). A handful of internet geeks does not mean it is loved by 'many'. How many is your 'many'. And, i say that as someone who likes PST. PST likely got better funded because it had the advantage of having hype off the success of WL2 and PE2 plus it combines the fanboys of Obsidian and the fanboys of Fargo. Plus, it is not really PS. It's a fake PS.
  4. "Ben Afflec always makes me think of those Alfac insurance ads ... "AFFLEC!"" L0L me too.
  5. "Even Pearl Harbour ?" yes, it was an entertaining action blockbuster. Plus, Affleck himself played the role well. "I am not a Michael Bay hater, he is very good at the summer popcorn flick thing, but that movie needed to have an axe taken to it. In fact I bet if that movie was 90 minutes and not 180, it would probably be a decent watch." i didn't mind the length myself, but cutting down some extra scenes might have helped those who didn't care for the 3 hour duration. "I have never watched Gigli but it must really suck balls if everyone ignores everything good that this man has been in." Nowhere near 'great'; but there are tons of movies much, much worse. Gigli is a movie that got hate simply because 'everyone' were in the 'i hate bennifer' phase. Don't get me wrong, it's not some fantastic movie but it is watchable compared to other dreck that people fawn over. ie. the ****vengers.
  6. Yeah, because charging money for a video game is the same as a disaster such as that. LMAO
  7. "They did it because they wanted to make a distinction between a warrior and rouge (in da:o a warrior did everything better then a rouge)," But, this isn't true.
  8. "Their greed level, it's over 9000!" WAAAAAAAAAA! A business wants to make money. WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
  9. "Cloony was bad because of the script, kilmer was just dodgy throughout his two." Kilmer's films weren't good but Kilmer himself was fine. Clooney was just plain bad. Clooney is not even close to my favorite actor and I find him over hyped but it felt like he wasn't trying at all. And, from his comments since, he pretty much all but confirms that it was basically a pay day for him. Kilmer at leasts eemed like he was trying despite the subpar writing. I laugh when I see people bash an Affleck film and espicially a performance of his. I can't remember even one Affleck film that is w that I left not enjoying to some degree even that christmas movie or the much beloved Gigli.
  10. "Probably not to what salvatore was during those days, but the last two efforts by him I read sucked hard vacuum." I can't say. haven't read him in a long time. I haven't really read much in a long time til I started again a few months ago. "I echo ranged and dual wield weapons for warriors please!" Agreed. It was dumb to ban them from warriors in DA2. It was completely illogical.
  11. Nobody can be worse than Clooney. Nooooooooooooooooboooooooooooooodyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Affleck is awesome. I'm sure the fanboys will be butthurt but who cares about him. I tend to like even his unpopular movies including Gigli. so *shrug*. I'm sure he'll do a good job. Too bad about the movie title. In other unimportant news... Mortal Instruments: City of Bone - Entertaining movie that covers old ground but with some new mixed in. Dissapointed in how vampires were represented but enjoyed the pseudo step father and the best friend. Lead was solid in your typical lead in these type of movies. 7/10
  13. "Mickey McMickey" 'Nough said. L0L "My problem with the ending is that you're given 4 options, but no matter what you pick you get the same ending with negligible variations" False.
  14. "Probably." Not even close. Salvatore has written some damn good books. It's not his fault 9well.. in some ways it is) that some people have gone extreme in their Drizzt love. The Dark Elf and Icewind Dale trilogies are damn good reads.
  15. "That said, between ME 2, DA 2, and ME 3, I've come to the conclusion that BioWare has forgotten how to do good endings." ME2's ending was fantastic. DA2's ending could have been way better. No doubt about it. This so called BIO 'fanboy' hasn't even finished ME3 so haven't perosnally experienced ME3 ending but what I've seen from the whining is the whining is over the top stupidity.
  16. "Yeah that can be a problem. But if the companions are written well, as in not whining, daddy issue free, not farting comedy side kicks, that risk should be minimized." Havinga choice of companions is always a good idea. Even with the limited npcs in PST it wa snice to have the option to throw the worst ones out. Plus, alignment/moral differences as well. ie. No way would a paladin want to travelwith Edwin very long. In DA, I killed that stupid assassin and it would stupid if I didn't have enough npcs to fill the aprty simply b/c I killed a guy who tried to murder me like we do all through games. L0L Plus, having 9 characters will not limit them to 10 lines. DA companions had TONS of lines as did DA2 and all 3 MEs. Or any other BIO RPG.
  17. "I ain't playin'..." Mission accomplished. Another win for the good guy. See ya wouldn't want to smell ya.
  18. ."hehehe...waitin' fer Volourn ta show up; dwarf's got some freakish Spidey-sense when anyone bashes the BIOweenians...hehehe" Does that include when i bash them? Only a troll like you would troll the way you do.
  19. Good update and nice monster. Hopefully, those interns are getting paid. Kanada has issues with companies taking advantage of interns who do the work of actual employees but don't get paid under the guise of 'teaching'. Still, good stuff.
  20. I bet if I had wrote Dog murderiong Sten or Morrigan, you sickos wouldn't even blink. "This kiddies is a red herring, where the poster purposely ignores the main point in his/her response and starts to wax poetic about something completely irrelevant in order to support his post. We are arguing Dragon Age Vol, not Baldur's Gate." yet, you have no issues when others bring non DA games up. Bottom line is that DA has more strategy, tatics, and options than most RPGs even (espicially) the precious BG. P.S. That character looks stupid espicially the hat.
  21. "I'd say that what made warriors redundant was their inefficiency at controlling aggro, warriors were poorly done in DA:O." No. They were poorly done in BG more likely but the fanboys just can't see it and are delusional.
  22. When did you? How over the top in my reply do I have to go to make things obvious?
  23. Even so, Dog's personality was just your typical loyal pet. Now, if he had betrayed you for the Darkspawn because they gave him better doggie biscuits that would have been a sweet twist... or if he had raped Sten (or Morrigan) in the camp.. that would have been different.
  24. You believe in assault. I believe in filing assault charges when someone attempts to injure me with something that could kill me. Dempster is a coward who can't even admit he did it on purpose. The fact you believe that A Rod deserves the death penalty because he did some drugs is laughably disgusting. L0L
