  1. Kreia calls him that during one of the cutscenes where she's running around tormenting Disciple on the ship.
  2. My guesses/thoughts on the Betrayer thing: 1) The Jedi, since he quit them after the Exile decided to go to war - making the title more of a philosphical thing. 2) Of the Exile - there's some dialogue bits in the folders that indicate he's caught sending messages to the Rebublic while on the EbonHawk - I don't know if you get these or not, ever - maybe they've been cut, like so many others were. In that case, 'betrayer' might be a reference to something he was supposed to do in the game that isn't there anymore - and Kreia knows the future, so calls him that.
  3. The ending wasn't satisfying...that's all. I don't think it 'sucked' tho. Just left too many things too ambiguous or plain forgotten. What I mostly disliked about the endgame however, is
  4. @ witchzenka - that sounds like a good way to view Disciples verbal mood. I've now replayed Dxun temple & skyramp 4 times... think doing it again to see reactions of other NPC's will have to wait. Side note: For some reason when my party leader got DSP points for the dark side 'patches' and for being tempted, it didn't lower my Exile's (or the party leaders) Light side Mastery at all. Still had the bonus. Seems...odd? And I like being able to give another character affect mind, if they level up during that errand. Not they have any use for it. :D
  5. Yeah, that's a glitch that's been known a while. Course, since I never feel like playing as a male, I'll never see it.
  6. Or do the mine exploit until you go blind from staring at 15 mines stacked on top of each other.
  7. In terms of the dancer quest... And yes, there's quests that can result in the reward of a lightsaber, and those seem consistent - but in terms of 'how many total can you get in one game' - that's not consistent, seemingly.
  8. Well I just tried it - she never changes outer appearance, and when I put on her original clothes it just looks like I have 'clothes' on - not a robe. Dunno.
  9. Do you mean she had them phsycially - ie it duped the robe - or that she isn't in her underwear/her outer appearance doesn't chage....she's never in her underwear even if she has no clothes/armor on, because she's special...or something.
  10. How do you see your FPS in this game? A 3rd party program? I have a pretty powerful computer, but an older 64MB GeF4-ti4200 card (yes yes I know...) and in terms of feel, the game runs fine 90% of the time - but with the usual occasional lagginess in certain areas. I'd be curious to see my FPS in those areas.
  11. Oh...sorry...it's the frame buffer effects I was thinking of, in the graphics advanced menu. :D frame buffer...vertex buffer...hey, they both have 'buffer' in them....har.
  12. IIRC, that's what gives a lot of the 'cool' graphic effects such as the speed spell blur, and the blurry borders when Kreia 'mindspeaks' to you, and other such things. It's nothing amazing or terribly missed, but it does add to the game atmosphere. And looks pretty.
  13. Kreia calls everyone a betrayer, I swear.
  14. I didn't notice this to occur in my game, and I did use the speed. But my force points didn't regen at all, anywhere, in there. (and I didn't have Drain Force at the time)
  15. I replayed it, only this time I sent Atton as leader, and made him 'resist' - he also says he learned something, but gives a better answer when you ask him what. I also love Atton's response if you tell him you single-handedly saved Onderon. haha
  16. Back on topic...kind of. So, if you're Dark and make Disciple leader of the Dxum tomb run, and then force him to revel in the DS, he later has a 'I failed you' dialogue, which in itself seems complete. But if you're Light and he succeeds at staving off the DS influence, then later he tells you that he 'learned something' - and if you ask him what he learned, he says "It's not important, perhaps we will discuss it at another time." Obviously...I'm wondering...does he ever discuss it at another time? Because so far, he hasn't .... and I'm on Telos for the Ravenger run. Edit - makes me wonder if there was more to it, and when they cut stuff from the game they replaced it with that line to close it off...
  17. Teeheehee....that's my thoughts exactly.
  18. Forcing Disciple to revel in the dark side on Dxun...he reacts so depressed afterwards when the party reunites, I felt terrible. Edit - all the goodies react fairly badly to that, actually
  19. The fun of the bad guys having more HP's when your items do not improve? Did someone tell you it was worth it, or something? Some people just like to max levels/anything on principle, tho. You might even say, some are obsessed with it.
  20. Malak's the only one you have to 'kill' - the others fade when he falls. Concentrate on him, ignore the others. Make your first action an energy shield or speed, if you have them, then try to move so you can reach Malak (since he tends to hang back for a few seconds). If you're Light you may not wish to use Force powers if you don't have to, since you can't regen your force points (well, hardly)..
  21. I have no trouble not getting any DSP in that vision. No idea what you're saying to him to trigger it. Just say all the stuff that is neutral or lighter. ie "I didn't follow you then I won't now" and all that. And there will be more LSP oppurtunities down the road - not tons more, but they'll be there. There's still a ways to go before the actual end of the game.
  22. DevilCat - you don't need to add an item if you use savegame editor to just change the influence manually - no mindprobe thing needed. Change the number, say 'apply' say 'commit changes'. I already tried it and saw them. Pretty cool. But do make a new save game to do it with in case it goes wrong.
  23. Is the question still there, or has it disappeared. I think it just disappears if you reach a certain point of influence or have already gone down certain dialogue trees - Bug perhaps, as mentioned? Dunno. Anyway it's not a very long tree - you ask and he says something, you respond, that's it.
  24. .....I like T3 quite a bit - he's like the Ebon Hawk pet mascot. The main thing about the droids for me, is they don't have all the nifty attack animations, so I personally find them boring to kill things with - and it's that, rather than the fact they're 'useless,' that makes me not use them.
  25. Another thing...is there any FAQ that tells you how influence relates to any cutscenes? I'd really like to see them all, any of them. Had one w/Atton & T3 the first time that didn't show up this time, and I can't imagine influence having to do with that. Weird.
