That's the season 2 finale entitled Lay Down Your Burdens Part 2. In that episode, Gaius Baltar is elected President of the colonies after former President Roslin, with the aid of Col Tigh, tried to steal the election. We then get a one year jump in the future, where Baltar's rule is failing for obvious reasons. Then the Cylons land and take over, after Baltar surrenders the colonies to them. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aye right.
