Starting with other characters still brings my rogue out of stealth
I thought this what was specifically supposed to be implemented.. They just couldn't get it to work? So (excluding shadowing beyond) a rogue still has to land the first blow of any fight to backstab from stealth? Why don't they just add invisibility potions so we can actually use this goddamn feature. Please tell me it's viable at 10 stealth. *missed "a fight" out of the title.

Ok. I've just realised, Penetrating blast's DR byass has to check against reflex in the screenshot? The other thing is blast is an AOE, does that only the enemies that weren't directly target are subject to the DR bypass? Too many factors. I give up

Wow. I'd only really experimented with the defender modal on Eder and other combinations which is why I assumed they all behaved the same. There really needs to be some consistency here.

As I understood it (from a post written by a dev) modals were their own category of buff and were supposed to stack with other bonuses of the same stat? I saw from another post that there is some inconsistency on this and some act as, spells/abilities while some act as passives for the purposes of suppression. (Mine is clearly behaving as a passive like penetrating blast) If this is not the case and this is expected behavior, please let me know. As you can see here in my picture it's only knocking off 5 DR where I expected there to be -10 I am currently playing the Beta patch. So mods if you want to re-home this thread I get it, but I've not played since a few patches back and I'm not sure if this is new, existing or even an issue at all?

Dude, These 2 skills are "modals". it's clearly stated in their descriptions. you can only have one modal active at a time. So naturally, it's wasted on a class that has a strong modal. I stuck it on Kana.

I didn't see the (Intellect = time bonus often reversing the benefit) issue listed? Will load it up now.. Was it just misdescribed and damage was actually increased or is this still on the list? It's not just a straight swap either... each spell would have to be dealt with individually

Confident Aim - How Does it Work? (Does it Work?)
Also wondering whether this is bugged as the min damage change doesn't take effect on the character sheet. Would be really good for my dual stilettos if it works as intended.

Suppress Affliction is either bugged or bad
I too am struggling to understand what this spell is actually supposed to work on or if it's just totally broken. It doesn't fix a knockdown but I'm guessing that's intended. I will say that it seemed to suppress the spell: infestation of maggots (which, erroneously or not, stacked up 4 times in one battle on my protagonist) due to me suppressing it with this spell it's now stuck on my character sheet forever.. which is whack.

Yeah I tried 2 different the emails that I could have possibly used and I had nothing show up... I've sent off a request of help. We'll see what they say.

Suppress Affliction - Really buggy spell
Can somebody tell me how this spell currently works and how it's supposed to work... I know there's been some threads on it discussing the vagaries in the description and the bugs related to the status icons and the character sheet that persist past the end of battle and seemingly permanently. I had an infestation of maggots (in the game) and on the two chars who I used the suppress spell on, they now have multiple suppressed penalty descriptions on their character sheets, eder has multiple stackings of the same status effect... it's all garbled though because there's no name for what's inflicting the stat change, the number of endurance reduced by is 0... but it's all still there. There were also multiple stacks of the same status on the character portrait... up to about 5. These stuck there after combat but when I reloaded they were gone. The character sheet stuff however now seems to be permanent on my save.

I'm just looking at my forum profile and I have a POE backer badge. I totally forgot and bought a key when it came out... How do find out if I have or access my kickstarter copy.. searched my email. Don't seem to have been sent a key.
