I did the very same thing after the usual errors with installing from the disks... Worked like a charm... It just works like this, you point out the first disk/directory, then it searches in that same directory where the first disk was for the second/third/fourth disk... Or something like that...

I had this problem too with kotor 1, can't remember how i solved it though...

Uhm no... Buy a vidcard that supports pixel shader v2.0...

True, I changed to the supported 5.1 catalyst drivers and it's working alot better than it used to..

God, if they could just fix the loading bugs I'd be eternally grateful, crappy ending or not I just really want to get on with playing the game again...

Eh...? Atton is all over the place! Not a shocking bug, but quite annoying... <_<

I have the very same problem, but at the turbolift to the fuel mining depot in the very first mission and I'm very much stuck...

open swkotor2.ini with notepad, somewhere in game or display options is a disablemovies=0 thingy, change the 0 to 1, save the file et voila! disabled movies!

Any type of beta testing would've been great for this game... Sadly they (LA or OA, I don't care...) seem to not have done any of this...

Just read the setup.info file with notepad, it should tell you what to do.
