It seems they have been testing fo six months. I think I read it in that leaked article I mentioned earlier. It s available now. We will definetely need new missions now. But how long will it take? How much time will be needed to plan, prepare and launch? It might be faster to ask Elon Musk to do a flyby when going to Mars.

Well, if the article is true, then they have done many studies trying to explain how phosphine could be produced without life, finding no way. There is even a phosphine specialist in the team, saying that there is no way for it, except with life. However, I agree with you. Even if the article is true, this shouldn't be announced as life. It is just like the Viking experiments in the 70s. They released nutrients on a soil sample and detected signs of life consuming it. Then they repeated it but heating the sample first, obtaining no signs. Did they kill the martian microbes on the second part? The same happened in two different locations (two Viking probes on different parts of the planet). Some people consider them pretty conclusive, but NASA disagreed:

What could be "the most significant astronomical finding in decades" will be announced tomorrow. Possible spoiler: apparently an article about this was posted earlier by mistake and removed quickly. If this is correct, they discovered phosphine gas on Venus' atmosphere, which can only be made by microbes or in a laboratory.

Are people already asking if the moon exists? I wouldn't be surprised. But as far as I know, so far it only happened as a joke.

Don't taunt, we are still in 2020!

Season 4's intro fits remarkably well for 2020: fire (Australia), great sadness (Covid), took back what was ours (protests)...

So it will be episodic, but also an extended version of "The Cage"? Anyway, the end of Discovery season 2 was really dumb and I didn't even dare watch some of the short Treks. So I share ShadySands opinion.

I heard the last four episodes of The Boys season 2 are supposed to be awesome. Let's see.

I really liked the first three episodes of Raised by Wolves. If the show can bring some surprises and keep the quality it's gonna be good. The first three of The Boys season 2 however left me disappointed. Not that they were bad, but I need more right now.

Game of Thrones EPs David Benioff, D.B. Weiss to Adapt The Three-Body Problem at Netflix I really liked the first two books. I started the third last week. Well, at least it won't run out of material.
