  1. 2020 is not over yet!
  2. Also, in their defense, some of the technologies they are using are more reliable and have been tested in the past. It's good to have that option, but I imagine it is unlikely that it will turn out to be the best one.
  3. But it seems things might get delayed even if they don't cut NASA's budget. The ULA and SLS are being called "United Lobby Alliance" and "Senate Launch System". They are getting billions of funding and think (or at least claim) that reusable rockets are not worth it. Meanwhile, SpaceX is doing a lot more with much less support from NASA. I don't know how much money they invested or received from private investors, but if Starship succeeds it will be a revolution in cost and capacity. It'll enable all kinds of things, from space mining to Mars colonization. And telescopes bigger than the James Webb. Other companies have good ideas too, like Sierra Nevada's Dreamchaser and Dynetics' Alpaca moon lander, but not everyone seems to be moving in the right direction. And reusable rockets are definitely worth it. China and Russia however seem to understand that and are making their own versions of the Falcon 9 and the US military is very interested in the Starship, so not everyone is incapable of understanding that. I got some of the information above from Youtube, so feel free to correct me if it is wrong.
  4. Barbaren is a german mini series on Netflix about the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest. I enjoyed it a lot. I hope they renew it for season 2. PS: Jeanne Goursaud is gorgeous. Edit: the roman characters actually speak latim.
  5. Yes, it was getting worse near the end but then they decided to... make it even worse with the magic.
  6. This actually made me feel pain. And yes, the repairing was critical, the entire ship started working again after they did it. But of course, the healthy people were required to clean blood in the next room.
  7. If it ends up anything like Picard, he'll be back and just fine. He will hang out with his bff Q, wonder if he was too harsh to Eddington and pray that baseball is no longer a thing.
  8. That is right. I found out as a child...
  9. You should have seen me replaying SOMA after 5 years. It was scarier than the first time. I thought I knew when and why the monsters would appear, how to trigger them. I was wrong. And I was lucky on my first playthrough so I didn't even know all the encounters in the game.
  10. Btw, I really liked Amnesia: Rebirth, but my impression is that it will have much less replayability than Amnesia: the Dark Descent or SOMA.
  11. I just finished the game and I saw no political agendas in it. The protagonist curses a lot so maybe that is unrealistic, I don't know how people spoke a hundred years ago. But besides that I don't see a reason to complain. Oh, there is a gay couple but they are minor characters and are mentioned just two or three times.
  12. Cheeky cat floods couple's house after turning on taps and blocking plughole.
  13. I really have no idea. The game is set in Algeria in 1937 so French people shouldn't be a surprise, right?
  14. Amnesia: Rebirth. Right now I'm not playing because it is still daytime and it is better to play when it is dark I'm working but I can't wait to get back to it. No spoilers here.
  15. Amnesia: Rebirth. I played a few hours and so far I'm really enjoying it. Feels just like the first Amnesia, including a the character that can't stay in the dark for too long so plenty of staring at the light to reduce fear lol Unlike what some people said, the main character does not talk all the time. But apparently people are refunding the game because she is a woman, has a French accent, is married to a muslim and Go figure.
