I didn't know those two were married. I am totally ignorant on pop culture I guess.

Excellent assessment, I wish I could make points in this way. I try but sometimes I just cant articulate my view in the way you have done In summary this is my view of Wikileaks, exactly how you have summarized it I agree with you and Elrond there is an adgenda behind all this. And yes Wikileaks is showing the whole world private information that it's agents stole by hacking into private server's and e-mail accounts. However, that does not make any of that information untrue. And there is so much data the argument that the information lacks context just does not hold water.

Oh, my bad. What point have I missed? Is this around Wikileaks or celebrities supporting Clinton or something else? I make so many points and at times I am unclear about what point I may be missing Not that Jay-Z & Beyonce were supporting Clinton. That's not big news. The funny part was after they did their sets Clinton came out to speak and the crowd left. THAT'S what's funny. The artists are there for Clinton, the crowd was just there for a free Jay Z & Beyonce concert.
-
LOL, Jay-Z & Beyonce had a free concert at a rally for Clinton apparently. Over 10,000 people showed up and most left after the performance and did not stick around to hear Clinton speak! She should have come out first. I just find that hilarious. Found the story: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3908378/Trump-blasts-Hillary-Jay-Z-Beyonce-concert.html

Immediately rejected, its Wikileaks Again I will repeat this point because some of you guys keep using Wikileaks as a credible and or authoritative source of information Wikileaks is like a group of people gossiping, similar to Reddit..its hearsay. It should not be used a foundation of valid information. If there is no way to verify or proof check something from Wikileaks why would you concern yourself ? Anything released from Wikileaks that cant be corroborated from another source I cannot in good conscience read and or consider Wikileaks is sending out THEIR e-mails to each other. They are not posting rumors they heard third hand.

My advice to anyone who wants it. Get married between the ages of 24 and 39. By 24 you have lived a little, had fun, sown the oats, etc. It gets repetitive. After 39 you are pretty set in your ways and will have difficulty adjusting to someone else. But more importantly you and anyone you meet will have been through a lot of relationships by that point. And since they are not married many of them may have been bad ones. By this time people are so emotionally damaged that can no longer trust and probably shouldn't be trusted. It's sad to say the the people who have been betrayed are often the ones who wouldn't bat an eyelash about betraying someone else. If you have a working relationship/marriage etc. Hold onto it. Do what you must, sacrifice what you must, grind whatever grist the mill requires to keep it healthy. It is a prize of great worth and far less common than you'd believe.

For vote fraud to actually turn a national election it would have to come down to a handful of districts that were compromised in a state or states where the reversal of those districts would have shifted the state and the election by moving the EVs from that state. In 2000 just 500 some odd votes decided the election in one state. If there was anything crooked going on that MIGHT have been one instance. But if those districts are so pivotal as to turn the race there will be so much scrutiny it would be nearly impossible to get away with anything. But that scenario is so rare and impossible to predict before hand. Usually state EVs are won by margins of tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands. It would be hard indeed to have that many "fake" votes without getting caught. Now local and congressional elections are a whole horse of another color. Fraud on that scale would be much easier to perpetrate and get away with. I remember when I lived in South Florida election fraud in city races in Miami were as common as summer thunderstorms. It seemed like every week a city official was doing a "perp walk" out of city hall.

In other news it seems the Clinton Foundation accepted a $1M bribe donation from Qatar that they did not report as they were required to do. They even denied everything once confronted with the proof... at first. AFTER the donation to government of Qatar requested a meeting with Bill Clinton. Reuters does not seem to know if they got one or what the Pro Quo for this Quid was but smart money bets whatever "favor" it was they got it. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-foundation-idUSKBN12Z2SL

If either party had run a regular candidate against the other opponent this whole thing would be as good as over. It's only tied because it's a "race to the bottom" type of year. The winner will be the one more people find slightly less objectionable. Neither will be popular and neither will enjoy any kind of a mandate for congressional honeymoon, I think for Clinton it will be worse. All of these scandals will not go away if she wins. They will continue to ooze and bleed until she quashes them all by firing and replacing everyone at the FBI and Justice who has or is participating in any investigation involving her or her interests. And all that will accomplish is convince everyone she was guilty from the get-go and is now using Executive authority to cover it all up. The old Potomac Two Step. On and on it goes. As for Trump he will be friendless on the Hill unless he can somehow trade in his personality for a more congenial one. I don't think he has a conciliatory bone in his body though. The upshot for him is the expectations for him are so low even if he is an abysmal failure it will not come as a surprise. All he can do is get better right from day one. In either case I'm hoping the Congress will wake up from this feckless funk they have been in for the last sixteen years and remember that they ARE Congress and have a vital role to play in this government. Part of which is not allowing the President to do a lot of the things the last two Presidents have done. But if Paul Ryan is reelected as the Speaker I'm not holding out much hope there. I don't know who cut his nuts off or what they did with them but I sure wish he had them back.

Well, I did my part about 45 minutes ago. I voted. You all already know for who and why.

I had to go into Covington to the feed store. I brought Sunny with me because I'm trying to teach her manners in public and they don't mind her coming in anyway. On the way back I saw there was no line at the church where the early voting poll is set up. So I stopped and took care of that too. And no one minded Sunny being in there either. Everyone wanted to meet her in fact. I love small town life. You can get away with a lot more that would never fly down in Memphis.

Is there a heaven or hell or anything else after death? I have my own opinions as do we all. There is one fact I know, and you can bank of it: we will all find out the truth one way or another eventually.

Wow, according to the Strategic National poll (don't know anything about them) Michigan is a dead heat now. If Trump picks off one Blue state and every state learning red and just half of the tossups he will be the next President. You know, if Hillary Clinton really loves her country and Donald Trump is really as dangerous as she says he is she should have stepped aside once it became evident that her dishonesty and other shenanigans might have damaged her enough to let him win. Just sayin'.

So, maybe it's a good time to invest in treasury bonds? Either it pays off or it's an end-of-the-world scenario where money not invested ceases to be worth anything. Win-win, from my perspective. I'm already heavily invested in precious metals. Silver an gold for sure. But even more brass & lead

What the.... Satanic.... I have GOT to stop paying attention to this election..

Because you make this argument (I think) that a logical person sees Alex Jones talking about human>animal splicing by reptillian overlords as just as ridiculous as CNN making an excuse for Hillary Clinton not knowing that 'C' meant classified. That we should see the facts of Alex Jones reporting that the president of Haiti accuses the Clinton foundation of attempting to bribe him, and defrauding the people of Haiti as just as valid as CNN reporting on the 'hot mic'of Trump saying he can grab a woman by the _____ So you make the case that people have lost the ability to present and acknowledge facts, that views are discredited that don't align with a persons narrative, that facts should be based on profession/life experience. Then you pivot, and say that Hillary Clinton (is perfectly suited for the role) or just as bad as other presidents, and on her worse day/scandal is leagues above Trump???. Do you work for the FBI? Have a way of sifting the facts that support that opinion from those that don't? The real wikileaks and emails that haven't been planted by the Russians?. You seem to be so far to the left, that it doesn't occur to you that people may not see Trump as worse than any other candidate in lifetimes of voting - in fact, take that opinion to any migrants that have come to America from Haiti to vote and see what they think of it. Let me just set the record straight....again for the umpteenth time around my view of Hillary Clinton There are only 2 choices for US president. It becomes a subjective debate about who is better and who is worse IMO and the view of many economists, world leaders and political commentators Hillary Clinton is the better choice for president. I agree and support this view. No this does not mean people who support her think she is perfect or that she doesn't have a degree of controversy around her. It is highly unlikely there is any politician in this world who someone doesn't have an issue with or is the target of legitimate criticism But again the issues people have with Hillary Clinton compared to what Trump says, thinks or his constant demagoguery are not in the same league. So in summary Trump is a much worse candidate for the US presidency Finally why would I take anything Wikileaks says when its clear they have an agenda to undermine the spirit of the US elections by their selective release of emails that ONLY seek to undermine the Democrats and therefore make some people constantly question the legitimacy of the overall election process. Just for the record how many emails have been released by Wikileaks that undermine Trump and or the Republican political campaign? Does this not seem strange to you or are you happy to support a movement that only targets one side. And yes Russian hackers are absolutely involved in these attacks on the US election I hope that clears up any misunderstandings you may have about my support for the Democrats Plus I think the suppression of free speech, property rights, privacy, and big government hubris all enforced at gunpoint appeals to you. Well, the Democrats are definitely your team there.

President William Henry Harrison croaked after just 30 days in office. He was inaugurated in January on a freezing cold day. He gave a three hour inauguration speech outdoors. He caught pneumonia and checked out a month later. His Vice President James Buchannan served out his term.

Well if you've been reading my posts you know what I think. Trump is a political neophyte who does not have the temperament, character, the education, or the experience to be a political leader and should not be anywhere near a positions of real power. He seems to have no idea what the President actually does and can't do and has no core philosophy that motivates him and drives his actions. He is wholly ill suited to be President. Hillary Clinton is irredeemably dishonest and thoroughly corrupted. She embodies every negative quality of the cartoon caricature of a bad politician. She will say anything, stoop to any level, kill if needs be to obtain political power. And not to achieve any end in particular, just for it's own sake. She lies without even thinking and then denies ever doing it even when confronted about is. She is wholly ill suited to be President. One of these two will be the next President, God help us, and we will all be damaged by that. Not from them. We've had bad Presidents before. They seldom do lasting harm. But the level of nastiness in the electorate against the folks voting the other way seems worse now than ever before. And the worst part is it is not done in favor of a candidate most of the time but in opposition of the alternative. And neither of these two are worthy of the passion and acrimony this is ginning up. And that is the saddest part of all. GD lets say you had to define which candidate is worse in certain ways Dont you agree you would be more embarrassed as a US citizen under a Trump presidency? As you correctly say " He seems to have no idea what the President actually does" ? I will be equally embarrassed by either. Was I at all unclear? Well then let me be very clear: NEITHER DONALD TRUMP NOR HILLARY CLINTON IS QUALIFIED OR DESERVING OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Got it? I'm afraid and can't dumb it down any further.
-
Pidesco, Bruce, are your seriously asking that question? Do you read nothing that is posted here? Do you ignore the news about her? Nine election discussion threads, some 5k posts, hundreds of linked articles and hours of linked video and you still do not understand why Hillary Clinton is so fatally flawed as a candidate for the highest office in our Country? Bruce I already know you ignore any news story or fact you disagree with. You are the flip side of the same coin as the people you complain about.

No argument here (except on that last part). It is ironic that in an age when factual information is easier than ever to obtain so much of it is dismissed because of the bias both real and perceived of the presenter. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but no it seems we are thinking we are entitled to our own facts as well. It's healthy when we disagree on policy, direction, possible future outcomes, when everyone understands the factual foundations the discussions are based on. But when we can no longer agree on what is and what isn't it becomes a problem. The truth is the "media" is largely to blame for discrediting themselves. To take your example when they take two talking heads discussing an issue and one is rational and reasonable and the other blames it all on the lizard people it's a big middle finger in the face of everyone who actually has a reasoned opposition to whatever idea they are pushing. It's the media choosing which side they want to advance and insulting the intellect of anyone who disagrees. Which ends up driving rational and reasonable people to other news sources some now call disreputable like Briebart. But it's more than just that. The "media" has dropped all pretense of impartial reporting of the news in this election. That is true. But they have a long history of trying to make their desired outcome happen through their reporting. Look at the fake news story CBS ran in 2004 about George W Bush not reporting for National Guard drill in the '60s. They actually went to air with a forged document in support of a false story. And what's worse they KNEW is was all bogus. I'll bet Walter Cronkite rolled over in his grave.

Nah, the media isnt so bad GD you just need to be selective in what you view and choose to believe, you can always verify stories and reporting perspectives ? That was an observation Bruce. I was not talking about my own opinions.
