Psionics
Personally, I dislike Psionics in D&D. It's all fine and good for a more sci-fi type game, but D&D (in my mind) is more high fantasy, and not Scanners or Firestarter stuff.

Never! You have adorable hands, and they should be decorated.

George R.R. Martin books
My wife bought this for her son, knowing full well that we'd borrow it and read it afterwards. I think she had to find a quick-plot-reminder website to help keep track of what all is going on. Not *nearly* as bad as trying to remember all the goings-on in the Robert Jordan books!

Tattoos
Here are the 2 that I picked out for my wife, on consecutive birthdays. On her ankle, the next year (his bouncing helps her run her marathons):

Merry Christmas
It's nice and warm here. A bit overcast, but still sunny Florida! Shorts and T-shirt, baby.

Got these things for the wifey: (match to the earrings I got her last year) & This book: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/042520252...=books&v=glance And a custom-made sterling silver charm bracelet for her favorite football team. She got me a nice long-sleeve shirt I was digging, as well as this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005JLX...&s=dvd&v=glance (which also included a collector coin, RAAR!) AND, from the National Archives in D.C., a great shirt with a pic of Elvis meeting Nixon: :D And some segzy boxer briefs for our bedroom antics.

Winter tidings, Happy Hannukah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Yule, Merry Winter Solstice, etc., ad infinitum.

NFL picks
My wife is the bigger football fan -- strange juxtaposition, I know. I can only pretty much keep up with it week per week, so I'm no good at predicting playoff round eliminations yet, etc. As to who will make it to the Superbowl, I'd love to see the Colts vs. the Bucs.

Impeach Bush?
I don't think I will ever see any President impeached within my lifetime. Just never gonna happen. It's all rhetoric; bark and no bite, when people bring up that term.

I haven't started yet -- but my family has a history of it. Dad was a Biology professor who moved later into teaching IB Biology in highschool. My sister taught Elementary School until she stopped to become a full-time Mom. I originally wanted to teach at the Junior College level or the full-on University level, but the job market for those positions are pretty slim.

The Military
Next on the hit list: Cuba Bhutan Iran North Korea Sudan Somalia Syria Republic of China  edit: it wasn't the US public, but rather a slight majority of the US public. It was one of the largest voter turnouts in history. But, popular votes don't really matter, as it's the electoral college who really votes in presidents, but that's a story for another day...

Newbie Guide
Politics & Religion are two of the biggest emotional button pushers... My ex-wife's father is a Colonel, USMC (ret.) ... when they'd move around often to different bases and even countries, there was usually a reminder session or commercials on the military radio reminding people that Religion and Politics are two very heated issues, and to handle those with care when mingling with your fellow families. I like to keep my personal views on religion and politics rather guarded, because they're, well, personal. But, I don't mind getting into an intellectual (not heated or filled with logical fallacies like appeals to faith or value judgements, etc.) discussion on those topics now and then. OK, I think I just derailed this train...

Online geek test
It's a good thing the first batch of questions was for only the past 2 years ... because I've done many more geeky things in my youth, which would have put me over the top.

Yah, my face looks pretty young. I still get carded, heh. Nah, that's a pretty recent pic. I had originally started my Masters in English Literature, immediately after double-majoring in Literature and Philosophy. But I quit that Masters pursuit. Now, though, I'm going to go back and get a Masters in Teaching (English). I'll be at the top of the job pool for teachers, as most only have a Bachelors in Education, so hopefully I'll be able to pick a decent school and work my way up to a really good school. Yes, it will be for highschool... And yes, I hated highschool. O sweet irony, thy daggers pierce deep!
