  1. He looks like Voldo from Soul Calibur.
  2. Muzak while on hold
  3. When you go into the first room in the quarters section of the Docks, there are a couple of aliens who yell at you for "thinking you could sneak up" on them... Well, if you *do* sneak up on them (using Stealth), you overhear their plan to drug Vogga's Kath Hounds with Juma Juice, and how he falls asleep when he watches dancing girls (weird Hutt). SOooooo, now you can go to the Cantina, ask the bartender for enough Juma Juice to knock out some Kath hounds, and then get a lady party member in to dance for Vogga by auditioning them with the worm-head green Twi'lek guy right by the bar. That leads straight into Vogga's -- the girl dances in her segzy outfit, Vogga naps, allowing you to target the Hounds' water bowl and pour in the Juma Juice ... zzzzz g'night pooches. One treasure trove now ready to be looted!
  4. When you've become so jaded by posting too often on a message board related to the game(s) that you make snide comments.
  5. Grr, now the buttheads want to wait until January to pick back up... damn winter holidays. I friggin' hate this time of year.
  6. I think the fascination with Twi'leks is a result of our memories of the hot dancing girl (and later added singers) in Jabba's Palace. I read on the SW site that Twi'lek girls are considered to be very erotic, or some such, to many different species. Maybe it's pheromones? Maybe they just know how to shake that thang? Maybe Amy Allen who plays Aayla Secura is just amazingly sexy? (w00t)
  7. Hah! Try getting her to dance for Vogga the Hutt. She's not weak then! She's got guts, but those years of "serve or die" have left their mark on her tortured delicate lovely mind. She needs wub.
  8. Except that the guys in the KOTOR games aren't green ... more like, brown... So I'm still not sure. <_<
  9. He's in K2 also ... he's the cranky old hombre Jedi when you go to Dantooine.
  10. Bastila's name is definitely not meant to be Latin. The voice actress who plays her is American, but is faking a British accent. It's just one of those British voiced odd names that are very common in Lucas's Star Wars galaxy. The entire Death Star is full of British actors... Speaking of pronunciation, there are a couple of times her name IS mispronounced in the two games. She's usually called "BAS-til-uh," but I can remember at least one time when Ed Asner/Vrook calls her "buh-STILL-uh," with the accent on the middle syllable rather than the first.
  11. Yah, at another game board where I'm a mod, we had several problem posters who would come back with new accounts after being banned. I'm too vain to create a new username, though! And as for dragon sex checking: Would it be via the cloaca? If so, I nominate Steve Irwin for any dragon delving...
  12. Jawas are cool; and by cool, I mean totally sweet. Jawas flip out ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. And that's what I call REAL Ultimate Power!!!!!!!
  13. Yah. Our group has had inter-party conflicts, roleplayed, at various times over the years, and it kinda is not as enjoyable as when everyone's on the same page with their evil. I mean, I'm there to have a good time, not to argue (even just pretend) with my friends.
  14. Especially one who can run her enemies through mine-fields, without setting any off herself!
  15. And didn't even get to take out her lightsaber. I was sorely disappointed by that scene.
  16. Hmm... maybe, since she's always expected to be in the back, helping with Battle Meditation, they thought that no one would expect her, and it would be a good surprise attack? NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION ... OR BASTILA! By his own smug smarmy admission, he's "hard to kill." Maybe he has some Mandalorian-style regeneration capability, or the like. I'm tempted to say that he hitched a ride out, after crawling out of the rubble, with some Sith headed back up to the main fleet, but it was implied that the bombardment would kill the Sith remaining on the planet, too. Hmm... He's a crafty bugger, that Calo. I sure enjoyed killing him. Maybe Bastila covered their tracks via Battle Meditation or something, or some techie Sith miscalculated the Ebon Hawk's hyperspace destination (and was force-choked), making it take longer for them to be tracked. After all, there was some talk about the Enclave on Dantooine being either smaller or hidden or secluded, or something... maybe they just didn't know to look there at first. Yah, I was thinking it either came by later, or they Force Tricked it like in K2, or they fed it so much bantha chow that it conked out, asleep, heh. Just goes to prove one thing: Dark Jedi are weird. "Hmm, I can commune better with the force by being locked in a tiny, tomb-like area!" Maybe it was some weirdo rite of passage, to overcome their fear of being trapped. I reckon. Probably. Good point. Yah. Like the girl or guy in the cantina in Upper Taris says, the regular Sith are just there because it's a job (with little pay). They're little better than mercenaries wearing Sith uniforms. Korriban, however, had Sith higher up in the chain of command, and presumably in the know about their specific Jedi and Republic enemies. I think that's stated somewhere... oh yah, if you find out you're Revan before going to Korriban, you can ask Yuthura if she would recognize him. She says he/she always wore the mask. Freaky Revan and his freaky mask. Also, about the Vulkars and the lightsaber: Vulkars aren't too bright. Additionally, there were others in K1 who had lightsabers as trophies, but were not Jedi (such as the Mandalorian raider leader on Dantooine, who had a couple of lightsabers as trophies). The Vulkars probably just threw all her gear in a bag and didn't wanna mess with it much, fearing their pinhead leader would smack them around for looting her, as he would want first dibs on her items. Plus, with as vain as the Black Vulkar leader was, he probably spent the entire time grandstanding and bragging and celebrating his might about capturing some important Republic person (and beating Voga to the Republic pod with her), and didn't get around to examining her and her items more closely until later.
  17. Yah, that's Aayla Secura in the pics I posted. She was added in digitally late into Ep2, then of course was in Ep3 on Felucia. She was originally created by Dark Horse Comics, and Lucas was impressed by artwork depicting the character, so he added her in. Here's a good article about how that happened: http://www.starwars.com/episode-ii/bts/pro...0618/index.html She's played by Amy Allen, and she's definitely delicious. http://www.jediaayla.com/ http://www.starwars.com/databank/character...cura/index.html http://www.worldfamouscomics.com/amyallen/
  18. Hmm, I was playing K1 last night, and fighting some of those Black Vulkar gang members who have the same alien model as the crewmembers in K2... The Kotor Tool just lists their textures as "Alien" ... no help there. <_< They seem to most resemble, imho, the "green Nikto" as described in the EU section of the SW site: http://www.starwars.com/databank/species/nikto/?id=eu "The Kadas'sa'Nikto, or "Green Nikto," have scaley hides, large obsidian eyes surrounded by a ridge of small horns, and visible noses. They are found in the milder forest and coastal regions of Kintan. " But, there are several descriptions of several types, and none seem to match up perfectly...
  19. Yah, I am ... I don't get out much. I barricaded myself in my home here pretty well, and don't see much natural light. "
  20. Yah, his species is listed in the official SW Databank as: Chadra-Fan http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/kabe/
  21. OK, OK ... If one has seen the movie, then...
  22. I Kelly Hu, so I'd have to pick Visas, by a very narrow margin. Evil, evil poll...
  23. Guaranteed to grate on some of your nerves: The Darkness -- "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" doot doot doo ... Who can honestly listen to that song and not picture Colin Firth and Hugh Grant's goofy fight in "Bridget Jones 2?"
