  1. Well, that beats my Manganese Giraffe.
  2. Here's a picture I drew of a knight. Those are ceremonial spikes coming out the top of his armor. And yes the helmet does look a lot like Boba Fett's, but the knight's in Warcraft 2 used helmet's similar to the one in my picture. Edit: Removed the ceremonial spikes because they looked like phalli :D
  3. Where do you guys learn to draw like this? These are great
  4. Alright, you asked for it. I'm not sure if this is an official D&D character. I must admit that I have never played it before. But a site I found says that he is a character in the game, so here it goes. This guy is called Curly Crimmins:
  5. Very nice Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to contibute to this thread. All I can produce are horribly drawn characters in paint. Mostly Star Wars. If you look around the Kotor I and Kotor II fanart thread, you'll find some of my "artwork" and you'll see what I mean. :D Edit: Found some http://tinypic.com/2kki1f
  6. Great post Hildegard. That is some interesting stuff. I hope I get a chance to use it.
  7. "He walks over to a computer terminal and switches it on. Words appear on the screen: Welcome, unauthorised user! Would you like a hacking tutorial?" Gold :D
  8. Don't worry, it won't happen
  9. Oh, believe me, I'm not discounting him entirely. I know that he was very important for the field of psychology. It's just that I disagree with many of his theories.
  10. Flashing the bios? How do you do that?
  11. I admit that Freud did some good things for psychology, but the dude was a perv. That's why I don't like him. I don't like the fact that he actually believes that a young child would have intentions to have a sexual relationship with the parent of the opposite sex. And his analyzation of dreams? Don't get me started. He thought that if you walked up stairs in a dream, it symbolized sex. And if there was a light house in your dreams? Well, I think you can figure out what that one represents :D I just think that he was way too obsessed with sex. You could consider him a genius, but there was something seriously wrong with him. I think it may have been the cocaine that he did for 28+ years. :D
  12. Oh come on, I was just trying to be creative
  13. Like I always say: As long as man exists, so will war.
  14. Then have you considered the possibility of clones? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Clones are people, so they don't have the advantages of robot soldiers, which are that no-one cares when they get 'killed' and they are cheap to produce. Or probably will be, by the US at least (economies of scale and so on). I doubt an EMP-proof robot is far away - legions of Pentagon scientists are probably wasting your tax dollars on it at this very moment. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The only advantage that I could see from cloning is to add numbers to your military. Remember how in Star Wars the clones were trained from a young age in combat? Perhaps we could do the same and train the clones to be Soldiers from the start. Edit: I see Bytor beat me to it.
  15. Then have you considered the possibility of clones? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wouldn't be surprised if we actually do make a clone army (this is sounding way too much like Star Wars :D ) But isn't cloning still rudimentary? I keep hearing of all these failures to keep the clones alive.
  16. The dogs in the experiment had no apparent brain damage, but that doesn't necessarily mean it would turn out OK with humans. If the 'revived' people turned out to be brain damaged, then the procedure would stop being used fairly quickly. The unlucky experiments would be cared for as everyone with brain damage is cared for, but I can't imagine a reason for continuing the experiments. There will be robot soldiers soon enough. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Robot Soldiers? I doubt they will ever take humans out of war. Although we are currently employing robots for tasks such as cave searching and mine detecting, as well as a new model that will provide combat support. We are using robots in conjunction with Soldiers, which I think will be the furthest it will go. Just think. You have a whole entire army of robots. Just one well placed EMP could take them all out just like that. Unless they design robots that are impervious to EMP's. And besides, it would cost a fortune to build an entire army of robots.
  17. Mine is Manganese Giraffe
  18. I'd be interested to see the application of this technique on the battlefield. I'm sure a lot more Soldiers will be saved if this method is used.
  19. I checked out Newegg and found this Radeon X800: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814121529 Looks like the one that I ordered from tigerdirect.com.
  20. I see what you mean. The video card that I just ordered off of there is on backorder, and it doesn't look like it's going to be available anytime soon. Thinking I might cancel and find somewhere else. And how do I make sure my RAM is intact?
  21. I like to use 1024x768 because it is much less choppy. But, with the new video card that I am getting, I will be able to join the 1024x1280 club, or maybe even the 1600x1200 club
  22. Nooooooooooooooooooooo! Yep. That's one of the worst problems of the game. It's full of n00bs whose only goal in the game is to grab a chopper... only to crash it five seconds later in an astounding display of lack of hand-eye coordination. But sometimes, only sometimes, you may find a server where people are actually trying to play and win the game, forming squads, making use of the commander features, and sometimes, even ignoring the aircraft spawn points! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The lack of team work is the main problem in FPS multiplayer games. Like America's Army for example. I couldn't stand how people just ran out like rambo and did not function as a team like they were supposed to. No one likes to use tactics anymore, it's all just run and gun. And that's an awesome Nooooooooo! I've never seen that one before.
  23. When I was in the ph34rd MoH:AA monkey-clan we often went on public servers to rape people when we were bored. It was great Just now i was playing Bf2 and I successfully raped the American base and was about to take their flag when the cannons started firing. Im thinking "This better not be 'Broken arrow' or Im so very dead." Second later Im blown to smithereens as the shells hit (broken arrow = camp overrun, all artillery to fire on our own position) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good old American fire power :D What country were you playing as?
