  1. Uh ya......thats fixed <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess I left myself open there for editing by other users. Good one :D
  2. You can then hunt me , size of my foot is: US - 15 UK - 14 European - 49.5 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't worry, I won't hunt you :D
  3. Yes, sadly the party is over. But there may be others Anyway, who here thinks that bigfoot exists? I'm skeptical about it. If there is one, I'm going to hunt it down and mount it on my wall :D
  4. Need me to tuck you in, sweetie? DL <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can tuck me in if you want :"> :D
  5. What?! You aren't leaving until you buy us a round of paint stripper.
  6. Who's hogging all the paint stripper? DL <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  7. His homoeroticism has engulfed us all. --- Also: The Greatest Website Ever clearly is... Right Here! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Those gingerbread cookies are gold :D
  8. Do I have to remove the image? Fine
  9. Oh great, brought the wrong thing:
  10. If you really want to cool down, go here:
  11. Hope your wishes come true and good luck P.S. When they do inlist you in a divison let us now which one <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Will do. But you guys won't hear from me for probably the next 3-4 months. Internet access is a rarity down there during training.
  12. OMFG!!! (no its not me, hes logged in as Im writing this) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ....you can't fool me Kaftan...... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Look at the two profiles and compare their local times. They are the same. Kaftan you sneaky b*stard :D
  13. Is there any option to what division you can be asigned to or its a non-optional decision by the infantry? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From what I know, I don't have the option of what unit I get assigned to. I do know that during OSUT we get a wish list where we write down what three bases we would like to be stationed at the most. And I think that what ever base we get stationed at determines who we are assigned to. I personally want to be assigned to the 3rd ID. I heard they are a really good unit.
  14. But when you're inlisted in a divison, won't you have to under go a boot camp that also lasts for quite some time? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I'm Infantry, so I go to OSUT (One Station Unit Training), which includes BCT (another name for boot camp), and then AIT (Advanced Individual Training), where you concentrate on learning your MOS (Military Occupational Specialty). In my case, it is 11X, or Infantry. Then I get assigned to a unit, where I will continually train.
  15. Well, I certainly can't see myself doing anything else. Honestly, no other job even sparks my interest, not even a bit. So I guess I will just see if I like it or not, which I'm sure I will. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you see your life only in the military, why not go to a military academy and become an officer - an obvious choice for anyone that plans a military carrer - and you'll still see action, or are you too eager that you haven't got the patience to spend several more yaers at the academy? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I admit that I am too anxious to put in that much time. I have been waiting 17 years for this moment, and I'm not up to waiting several more.
  16. But that's not the original Edit: Here is what the original was like http://www.superlaugh.com/1/hamsterdance.htm

  18. ye crazy militaries and yer darned abbreviations! that doesnt tell me a friggin' thing! Did it involve shooting stuff? " p.s Dont mess with the Hoff. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I shoot guns in my spare time (Ruger 10/22). But the Pre-BCT (Basic Combat Training) list is a bunch of tasks that you can accomplish to prepare yourself for training. The reward for completing it is being promoted to E-2, which is the rank of PV2. I guess you could call it Private 2nd Class, but that is not its official name. Here is a rough list of what you have to do: -Establish a direct deposit account -Learn military time -Learn D&C (Drill and Ceremonies) which includes marching, executing rest positions, excuting facing movements, etc. All that fun stuff. -Recite the general orders -Identify rank structure -Learn the phonetic alphabet -Learn basic first aid -Take the APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test) -Learn land navigation In addition to this, we also learned some of the basic combat formations used at the squad/platoon levels. We also learned some of the hand signals. Those are the best
  19. A little enthusiasm never hurt anybody but youre really pushing the envelope here. I mean, you havent actually done anything but sign the papers yet, have you? :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, I have already completed the Pre-BCT task list, which means I got promoted to E-2, or PV2. So I've done more than sign the papers :D
  20. No, this is the greatest website ever: www.goarmy.com :D
  21. Stupid insurgents. We have the video which means that Soldier probably went over and killed the b*stards. And what does "Ackbar" mean. Are they praising Allah?
