The real question here is. I have not done the Alpine dragon yet so no spoilers but one! Before he was capable of instantly critting someone and killing out right (not knocked out) in one hit? If so that is frightening for my PoTD Trial of Iron run. -
Small framerate drops in certain areas.

Agreed. I am on PoTD Trial of Iron so I literally have 3 saves. My currently playthrough and 2 others. I was thinking maybe updating my video drivers. Just my current drivers work so well lol -

2.02 is the first time I use St Ydwen. So far it is registering the damage I do (just got it its at 614/1000). I have not fought in spirits yet as I just got the weapon. -
Again I got them all. so if you got the book before the patch it probably still wont be there for you. I got the book after 2.02 and they are all there.

Absolutely . I am currently running Zahua with Savage attack, Two weapon Fighting and Vulnerable Attack with fists (hatchets for immune crush enemies) and he is an absolute beast. It is SICK dps. I am talking like 48 to 60 hits on 10 to 15 DR mobs with every Torments Reach (Turning Wheel extra Fire damage with wounds). Also auto attacking with high wounds yields very good results obviously not hitting quite as hard as Torments Reach but still up in the 30's per hit on high DR mobs. The armor I am wearing is very light. The unique hide armor from the Ogre cave. Its good enough DR (11) for him to take wounds) and then Iron Wheel kicks in and gives him very high DR which I can either sit on if hes getting focused or just toss a Reinforcing Exhortation from my main on him while he expends wounds on Torments Reach. It synergizes and flows extremely well. One of my favorite set ups.

So there are 3 very particular areas in the game that make my frame rate drop a bit. It is noticeable but still very playable (which is better then a lot of people from what I read). For me these are: Copperlane where the sand part is in the market, When I am outside around Durgan's Battery I drop to like 30 to 45 FPS and sometimes in Russetwood I get the same result. Whenever I go inside in these areas like the Ice Cave or Galvinos the FPS is GREAT even in large fights with lots of effects. At the end of the fight for St. Ydewn's Redeemer I did have a massive FPS tank for some reason. It was when The Grey Sleeper procced a bunch of Vessels and my Wizard had the Wizards double spell going. I am assuming with the already slower FPS in that area this made it tank. It is the only time its happened to me in over 500 hours (I know...) of PoE. Any advice? Is this just an optimization issue right now? I have not updated my Drivers in a bit (like 6 months) but they just work REALLY well so I am hesitant to use other drivers lol.. I am currently at work so these are my specs from the top of my head. I will post my DXdiag when I get home. CPU : I7 (I know there are a lot of models but lets say I run games like DAI with zero frame rate drops) 12 gigs of Ram (DDR 3? its the fast type lol) Nvidia GTX 770 (I know its not the best card in the market anymore) I also have a solid state drive.

Ya seems like all the Xaurip Champion Spear textures are missing. Seems like ogres too but not sure if its all of them. Here is my most recent file.

They walked at the same speed as the rest of the party in the previous version, if you had the entire party selected. What was wrong with keeping it like that? No, they didn't. Not in my game. There was a massive issue with (never can remember the name of that armor) Brekker or something. All red and shiny. If some party member donned it, they were way ahead of the rest of the crew. And there's a pretty cool piece of armor you get at Stalwart, slowing you down. And by slowing down, I mean slowing down. I gave it to Pallegina and the crew had to wait for her to catch up. If that got fixed, these items may actually have some use. Do you not see that it says -1 movement speed on the armor? Being slow is part of the deal with that armor. There is nothing to fix with that. Read the item description. Really frustrating when people ask for FIXES (yes some are definitely needed) to things that are working PROPERLY but they don't like it. -1 Movement speed is a LOT just like +1 is. -

Well yes, a description was already there since the beginning What I mean is, does it have a black-and-white illustration of the weapon in the style of the IE games? All soulbound weapons do except for The Grey Sleeper in 2.01. Example from St Ydwen's Redeemer: By the way, do modals retain their graphical effect upon saving/loading now? Gotcha. Ya still no illustration. sorry about that.

Uh you must not play a lot of pc games, or only play the newer ones after they have had a patch or two. I remember back in the real days of bugs having games that were sold totally unplayable with multiple CTD bugs, balance issues, launch problems, multiple fail state no recovery bugs. If Eternity is the buggiest game you have ever played you are doing really well on the buggy games front. Oh dude I have definitely run into game breaking bugs. Just not in PoE specifically. I have shamefully logged over 500 hours and have not encountered game breaking bugs. -

I've never had bugs this bad. Ever. UI bugs yes. Abilities not working properly yes but nothing to this magnitude. Also since day 1 I haven't had a CTD. Maybe im.lucky . -

I still think Fighter does very good damage when specced properly even in Plate. Just give them a big 2hander spec them for offense and they can be very durable frontliners with good damage. -
Well for Reflex saves it is. Granted when you get Weapon and Shield style + Faith and Conviction it helps. If you dump dex and per or one or the other it will be your weakest defense for sure. Not saying its game changing but you will probably get CCed a good amount more. Being CCed as a frontliner is definitely bad.
