  1. The Girdle drops 100% from Beina, the first Serpent's Crown bounty (who also drops the Nomad's Brigandine), and seems to be a random drop at higher levels. I've not found a consistent source for the Bracers of Greater Deflection.
  2. I don't recall exactly. I think it was a burial mound, but it may have been a wreck. I haven't tested reloads. Is the seed set at creation or can you "re-roll" randoms w/ reloading? I got 3 regen belts before I even left the first isle on one game. I seem to recall from one time I went back to an earlier save that I got different items from the first burial mound, so I think it's a roll-on-click type thing apart from certain items.
  3. My experience of this kind of game is that players who like character optimization, especially those who like to multiclass, like Spellswords. If you've got a fun Caster/Caster multibuild, post it, you may be the first in your category.
  4. I gave Wahai Pōraga to Pallegina on my latest playthrough and I'm loving it. Personally it's hard for me to give up on Duskfall and Modwyr as a pair of amazing, early to acquire swords.
  5. I had fun on my first full playthrough with a Devoted/Troubador dual Sabres cheese build. That straddled both sides of the patch without issue. I'm now trying a Devoted/Kind Wayfarer Greatsword build, which is pretty fun too. Just got the Whispers of The Unseen Paths sword and looking forward to giving that a go tonight.
  6. I was thinking that myself after the Exile's predicament was revealed. The "Zero To Hero" approach makes sense given that the game is based of the D&D rules system, but it makes no sense to anyone who follows the Star Wars Universe. The Dark Side is supposed to be the quick and easy path. As for Handel's moral problem, I find it no problem to play Light Side. You just have to be a good person who seeks to aid others. Given that my coffers and inventory were overflowing with more stuff that I could reasonably use ina game, I had no problem turning down a poor peasant's 200 credit reward. The Jedi Masters in the game are supposed to be wrong, and are probably closer to the Dark Side than they realise. The arrogance and self-righteousness of the Jedi Order is a recurring theme in SW fiction, including the prequel movies. But that doesn't mean the Jedi Code itself isn't a good example of how to follow the Light Side: seek to prevent the loss of life whenever possible, don't give into fear or agression, and try to understand why people are acting as they are and where possible, redeem them.
