After seeing the screenshots from the KotOR 2: The Sith Lords Restoration Project, like this one, I started to think on whether I got those cloudy borders as well during the mind reading cutscenes. I'd just like to know if that whispy/dream border effect is in the normal game? My graphics card can't show the Force Sight effect, so I'm guessing it's just related to that.

For those mixed up, I think the Droid Factory was supposed to be that Telos Base Sub-Level (which can't be opened), and the Droid Planet is well, a planet not put on the map. Since it's a droid planet, maybe it's part of the zoo.... :ph34r: Heh, I guess I've taken "Droid Planet" too literally and I'm imagining some similar to that Robot Planet in Futurama.

Better an FPS than an FF RPG....

My top 3 would be: 1. BioWare (a failsafe choice) 2. Obisdian (potential for good and disaster) 3. Raven (yes, they make FPS but they got good SW reputation) Technically/game engine wise, I don't think it matters *too* much cos it'll be a new modern engine. I guess it comes down to story and persuasive power against LucasArts.

Star Forge - the enemies just keep coming and coming.... And you can vary it by having blaster battles (taking blaster/party), or triple Jedi party (and unless you're really losing, you'll leave your other members on auto-attack, thus some good saber clashes). Either way, it's almost constant fighting once you reach one of the decks yet you still manage to push forward - "ahhh, now there's the inflated sense of self-esteem!" - Barney Gumble (Who Shot Mr. Burns)

True <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, true. But at least those two endings were actually different! (and representitive with the LS/DS path you choose).

I'm not an artist so what I say I guess doesn't carry much weight, but she does look a bit thin in the mid section... It's a great base to start off. Constantly update the first post image with the latest version and I'm sure that the artists around here will tell what to do next and how.

A lot of your initial problems do seem more like problems with the system setup. I don't own an ATI (although I'd like to have an X850XT Platinum some day...soon, too bad I've got no money), but the above posts cover it. Once you solve your tech bugs, it won't be the end of it all. Wait till you get to Nar Shaddaa...

I thought it was alright. It was a well built thing which was a bit like an interactive Episode II.

It doesn't look like a fish from that front-on screenshot. Looks like a...well...something very weird. But I can see how it's similar to that Large-Ancient Firaxa (?) shark. It looks fully out-of-place - no idea why it would be there.

I don't mind Obsidian's dark story - I just thought of it like "an Episode III". What I didn't like though is how the LS ending was not very LS at all (and too similar to the DS ending) . And with the speculated name of KotOR 3: The Last of the Republic, I am not getting my hopes up on anything else but more doom. What's wrong with Rome Total War! I luv that game!

I do think the True Sith are real, but I wouldn't want them to become part of game (leave it to Star Trek to introduce "new species and new civilisations"). Also, didn't KotOR have one of the loading things saying the True Sith died out AGES ago (yes, could've been "believed to be dead...") I think Kreia exaggerated the whole True Sith - yes, they are real, but to say that they're some greater threat that must be prepared for is probably a bit of a fib, which may be something she truly believed - trying to kill the force made her a bit of a nut to me.

Suvam was the stand-out merchant. Good sales, some good dialog, interesting side story (the Trandoshans) and provides a reason to play Pazaak against the K1 AI. I agree that Greeda (or is it Geeda) is the closest to a Suvam; Rodian, an attached quest, and a changing goods list (from the quest) I hope those Trandoshans (or the Exchange) haven't tracked him down yet...

I wouldn't say they inspired me but I am a fan of Revan/Bastila (Episode II was still fresh in me when I played!). But I do agree that the trio are the central focus of the story and all the Star Wars themes on redemption, the general Good/Evil thing, and ofcourse the Ep2 Jedi-no-love rule and their stories are much more inter-twined than the other members, who were more like the "tools/specialists" of RPG games and the choose your party thing.

Funny, but I don't think so :D . It wouldn't be suprising if he was fired on, but dodged the lasers cos he was flying so poorly - so unpredictable that even computer-assisted gunners couldn't calculate where to shoot.

Are you talking on some philosophical Star Wars overview or KotOR 2 only. I agree that you wouldn't be able to keep EXACT neutral in the game, so I'm thinking you will get one or the other. The game might even make it a bit like the Unknown World Temple Summit. The "point-of-no-return", the key point in Jedi Knight, the LS/DS choice point. I'm thinking that the conversations options will change your alignment a lot so that it won't be possible to come out of that convo with a neutral stand. But I think most "neutral" players (to lower the force alignment penalty) will still lean towards one side or other.

Yeh, you forgot the normal DS face look option - ie, nothing special.

This isn't really a bug, but Force Sight (the alignment overlay/highlight thingy) doesn't work on older graphics cards, or at least mine and some others who also said it. I'm not sure what the exact required feature is though - probably some sort of shader but that's a guess.

We can make it a K2 relevant thread easily. Where did they go....?

Nice to see a piece of pre-game material actually make it into the game as hyped...
