  1. Heart of Fury mode in IWD2 was simply a sumonfest mode. Standing half a screen away from the battlefield and waiting for the minions to do your job for you wasn't really all that challenging. I hope this time around we'll get something more interesting.
  2. Exactly my thougths. Proportions are way off, unfortunately. However, there's something I definitely like about these models even now! Especially after bland, generic and lifeless look of D:OS models (D:OS is a very good game with nice visuals but character/NPC models really aren't its strongest point).
  3. Are you sure? I thought it was always a game. It certainly has its rules and you don't always win.
  4. Little do I care about romances being or not being included in PoE, but your post makes little sense for one reasons: in the end characters are nothing but strings of code translated into pixels. They don't and can't have free will whether it's if...else or random() or whatever. If romances feel "rapey" to you that so should everything you ever do in any game.
  5. I guess if the TC diverted his energy and enthusiasm to a more productive venue we could have a nice romance mod. Not for PE perhaps (since it's still in the making) but for some game anyway.
  6. I'm not a backer and I still think the way Obsidian handled E3 was grossly unfair towards backers. After all, people invested their money (I know by KS rules it's not legally an investment but de-facto it is) in the project. They deserved better. Again, I understand that there's no obligation beyond KS pledge rewards but we're talking about being fair and nice here, aren't we? Well, Obsidian put press above their most loyal fans - by any standard this is neither nice nor fair. Telling people who feel disappointed and betrayed that it's all envy and whining is, let's be honest here, very childish. You know such thing as well-founded discontent actually exists and that's we have here. And, as far as I know, Obsidian simply turned a deaf ear on all complaints. Not cool. That's all I have to say. Not cool.
  7. Good first post. Very thoughtful. Good sarcastic reply. Very convincing. --- Look at Wastleand 2. If all goes well, it's going to be released in August. They have an early access beta (and it's not like they released it just yesterday), most features are already complete and yet the release date is 3 months away. Now let's look at PoE. I understand it's a very large and ambitious project but we're talking about its state not about its scope and goals here. And it definitely looks like the game as a whole is still in early alpha stage. I mean they can't even throw us a bone in the form of a decent gameplay video. Which is not very reassuring, is it? OK, 2016 is not the earliest - I exaggerated a bit here but late 2015 sounds about right to me.
  8. Since Obsidian hasn't even released any gameplay videos (that one short short "teaser" they made ages ago doesn't really count) I think it's safe to guess 2016 is the earliest.
