I am still confused on how that thing even works. If you choose not to opt into it due to having a better one from before, you will have to pay higher taxes. However if you do not have any insurance, you have the option to get it, but still using the same system with high rates and weak coverage. Correct me if i am wrong, but it looks like this law was written by and for the insurance companies.

Good question. I wouldn't know, since i once thought that it meant something uh, else.

Supreme Court: Same-sex couples can marry in all 50 states

Excellent. Now do the same with drugs. -
https://archive.is/Ji99p Not sure if this is even serious. Poe's law and all that. I meaning, tearing down a monument that has the following text engraved: "I have sworn upon the altar of god eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."

Would such a world make you become mad enough to go out and, lets say, shoot people? Joking aside, as i see having a great character, strong sense of morals, professing rectitude, purpose and principles can only come from the individual. I do hope however that these characterictics emerge from having a broader narrative than that we have now. Currently, it seems like we are only creating our own social bubbles with no interaction with each other, leaving the main one imagining that it represents society.
-
What do you propose? Widening the spectrum of what is politically correct and what can be debated in society at large. Since these guys seems to be have been quite isolated and never had their worldview challenged due those reasons, I see it as a pre-emptive measure in order to combat possible anti-social attitudes. I mean, the first step for these kinds of people always seem to that they have lost the connection to the very society that they inhabit. These ideas are quite difficult to implement and i have no idea on how that could be done.

That's a good question. The user reviews are not good though.

I thought that it was the Montreal Canadiens that were the ones doing public elections through stampades, or was it the Canucks? Now I am all confused.

Well this really has ended well, with a resounding victory for the gamer, and a black eye for the corrupt media whom wanted Steam to not allow a basic consumer right. I do wonder whether this would have occured before Gamergate, and whether the public actually standing up for their rights, and spurning the regressive press has given the publishers a little more respect for their audience. It's really surprising to see how quickly Warner Bros. stepped in, and an indication of how valuable this audience is to their business. On the celebration of historical revisionism, it's to be expected, Orwell really was a prophet in many ways. No Nonek, GG has nothing to do with this....but maybe it has. Making someones personal details available just seems.....unethical, craven and an unnecessary step ? Sounds like something GG would do...so you probably right How many times do you have to shoot yourself in the foot in the same thread? Quite fascinating.

Hungary, the happiest barrack behind the iron curtain! But are we really seing Germany's ban on swastikas and video-violence as a good and functional thing? Here i always thought it was to be mocked at best or seen as a tragedy at worst.

I like how little discussion there is about combating the ideas and ideals that guy had and possible mental health prevention methods. Instead it is the same old "banning speech, symbols and guns and everything will be ok"-mantra. Pity.

^So, um, there. That's why we need diversity. I would agree if it was about expanding the market for new potential segments and new demographics, kinda like Nintendo did with the Wii, but without trying to change the existing ones. I'm not entirely convinced "crappy portrayal of sex workers" is the bedrock any game series was built on. Perhaps, but that's the result of any platform or industry that is non-centralised and relatively free. There's going to be a whole a lot of stuff you do not like.

It's like when they added the sticker "Parental Advisory: Explicit Content" on CDs back in the day. Gromnir was right all along, the slow process of changing the flag is there for a reason.
