Now it has ended. Dismembered bodies found in the theater. Police apparently caught one terrorist (where? dunno) admitting that he was sent by ISIS. Oh, and the refugee camp in Calais is on fire.
-
Well that was fast. Apparently the hostage situation in the Bataclan theater has been resolved. French police have issued a gag-order about Bataclan....I don't like the sound of this.
-
Well that is horrific. Cops surely must be storming the place, no? GIGN (French SWAT) are storming it now as i type this.
-
One by one of the hostages at the theater are being killed right now according to CNN.
-
State of emergency declared. The french borders are now closed.

Seconded. Older devs think they own everyone. One older dev claimed I would never make it in the game industry because I wasn't good at Call of Duty 2. People are just rude morons. Has nothing to do with gender. She brought that baggage with her. Third. This is modus operandi in higher management, and don't get me started about business management. That constant ****-waving is borderline hilarious.

A mumbling nobody who can be easily manipulated financially and ideologically by the powers that be. I guess that his popularity comes from the evangelicals rallying around him. Simply another GWB-lite but without any charm, family-dynasty or money behind him. He will sell himself for little as long as he can believe in grain-filled pyramids.

Ideologues oppose antagonising views. An insightful observation indeed. No, i am talking about something more deeper and profound. Like the revolutions in Russia and such could at least before be explained from the angle of scarcity and competition of natural resources or from they were directed top-down from those who really wanted the same power as the aristocracy. But here (like in Yale and Missouri Uni.) we have people behaving completely irrationally despite having all their base needs satisfied. ...or maybe it was someone else who claimed it.

Trump (or Sanders for the democrats) should win because he cannot be bought by interest groups that are actively working to continue the status quo of 'modern society'. ...and also because i love politically incorrect characters who make the establishment cry. Call it shaudenfreude.

Was it Vox Day who claimed that social justice warriors are in fact very religious despite lacking spirituality? That they exhibit the same type of reaction as when someone commits heresy in other religions/cultures? Quite fascinating claim to say the least, is there any kind of research on this? Certain behaviours or core belief systems triggering the same psychological responses as prayer and such?

That is insane, what a terribly written article. Ethics in journalism indeed. Why don't you read some real articles on the issue? I wish that the only problem is how the article was written, but sadly reality is stranger than fiction. The lunatics are truly running the asylum

The insanity continues.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3310578/My-decision-comes-love-not-hate-University-Missouri-President-Tim-Wolfe-RESIGNS-amid-racism-controversies.html This is now a possible scenario: If anything, one can easily say that the whole GG scandal is just something of a larger cultural revolution, yikes!

Something is broken in your soul. I pity you As for the kickstarter? YESYESYESYESYEYSYESYESYESYESYES.....yes.

It seems the only group more melodramatic than the SJWs is the anti-SJWs. Not all frogs notice when the water starts to get warmer in the kettle. Too bad no one in authority seems to dare to turn the heat off.

Yale? Witness the future leaders of your country, my fellow americans.

What a fantastic trainwreck that will be.

Sorry, I'm not a figurine in your dollhouse where you have your imaginary tea-parties.

The next time a "tech" journalist writes about a sexual assault/rape scandal, remember this: http://esr.ibiblio.org/?p=6907 http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2015/11/04/feminists-are-trying-to-frame-linus-torvalds-for-sexual-assault-claims-open-source-industry-veteran/

I don't like the prequels so I don't watch them.

I can only laugh by now. All the values brought by the flower power-generation is being effectively being undone before our eyes. Ban anything fun and make everything political; all while applauded by the youth. What a time to be alive.

Libya threathens to flood Europe with more refugees. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/libya/11970313/Libya-warns-it-could-flood-Europe-with-migrants-if-EU-does-not-recognise-new-Islamist-government.html

Confirmed, shotguns are selling like hotcakes lately, I've seen many couples with apparently little to no experience with firearms in the gun shop buying such firearms and ammo. I am a gun owner but I have mixed feelings about this because I'm pretty sure the majority of the buyers won't practice with it or learn how to safely operate it....let alone ever test fire it. But saying the refugee invasion has caused this buying spree is only half the truth, it only boosted sales further. Shotguns and defensive firearms have been selling really well for the past 2 years now because people have been feeling that somethings brewing long before the refugee incident started. One reason is the EU antagonizing private gun ownership, many people want to arm themselves before bans come from the politicians in Brussels. Coincidentally, the survival products market -like emergency food- has been experiencing a dramatic increase in sales the past couple of years. To me, it feels like people wake up from their slumber in their false safety bubble realizing that not everything's gonna be alright forever. Woldan NO! I thought that only those red-neck americans were gun nuts. Why aren't you being smug about your healthcare at your local barrista and deconstructing the dreamscapes of Klimt? :( In other news, KP's ranting about the elite financing the crisis turns out to have some merit: http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/11/02/soros-admits-involvement-in-migrant-crisis-national-borders-are-the-obstacle/ (Relax, the source is from Bloomberg News)

...Said he, somehow managing to miss the point completely. Aside from having fun with the narrative breaking apart when facing reality, i do hope that this development will be reversed, because otherwise we will have a quite bumpy road ahead of us. "Development"? You seriously think poor people haven't always got the short end of the stick as far as their options go in life? That this is some sort of revelatory new development? Not to mention that the data, if anything, supports the existence of privilege. I think we're talking about different things here. I am talking about having shaudenfruede over the narrative of white males have all the privilege in the world being not so true, and funnily so, and with a cherry on top they seem to have difficulty understanding why compared to the case of any other other ethnicity, sex or sexual minority. The problem with the current development is not something new, of course not. What i am worried about is when it is rising, and historically speaking it leads to all kinds of troubles. That being said, i am not at all against hierarchy. People are inheritly different and greatness comes from overcoming oneself; hierarchy is a representation of what individuals will aspire to be and overcome it. This implies great social mobility based on merit of course. Back to topic: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/11/01/have-you-played-myst/
