  1. http://archive.is/Y92ii Well, they sure told me.
  2. ...and there we have it. The solution is not for banning guns or more survaillence. Rather, it's about Islam accepting the gay. They are clearly not inclusive enough and we as society need to focus on the toxic masculinity which is spread in their mosques. Homosexuality is rejected by the Muslim world, they must be the most intolerant religion as far as homosexuality is concerned In the ME many countries have the death penalty for anyone found to be gay If this guy was indeed gay he would have been in this permanent state of confusion and he would have been conflicted. Sadly when certain people refuse to accept who they are as far as sexual orientation is concerned they sometimes resort to violence as a way to somehow deal with the frustration of not being able to be themselves I have seen this before, sometimes the worst bigots end up being gay themselves Keep in mind the message that ISIS puts out: First, it is the duty of the faithful to come to Syria/Iraq and join the fight to re-establish the grandeur of the Caliphate. But, if you can't do that for whatever reason, it'd be great if you could kill as many infidels as you can where you are. This offers a way for unstable folks with violent tendencies to feel justified-- even holy-- in acting out their fantasies of bloodshed. ISIS bears no cost, and gets the benefit of looking scarier to the outside world ("Lone Wolf" attacks are by nature more difficult to prevent than ones involving central coordination), as well as inspiring nativist and anti-Muslim reactions that feed the cycle of recruiting. Thus, "ISIS-inspired" attacks like Orlando (guy who might well have been a self-hating homosexual kills lots of gay folks) and San Bernardino (terrorist attack that just happened to target the perpetrator's co-workers) where religion appears to have been the final justifying factor for violence that already-unhinged perpetrators really wanted to inflict for other reasons. It's the key difference between Islam and Christianity really. In Christianity salvation is inward where no matter what you have done previously, confessing ones sins, regretting them and asking for forgiveness is the path to salvation (Just look at all those gay pastors asking for forgiveness after getting caught). In Islam it is outward, namely you can commit murder in the name of Jihad and the sins are washed away and salvation is given.

  4. You know that the global capital are starting to sweat when you have the pundits entering the bargaining-phase. The next step is depression. "Oh why oh why don't they see our benefits of moving labor anywhere in the world with no tariffs and no taxes? Why are they revolting about useless things like national identity, borders and cultural heritage? Those things have no value!" Besides, everyone knows that the Boing 787 Dreamliner was absolute design-flop with its burning lithium-batteries because the knowledge was fragmented due to outsourcing to such a degree that there was no one left in-house with a total scope of the design process.
  5. Problem is, there's no due process in being put on the no fly list, so legally it's meaningless. If they actually went to a judge and asked someone to be placed on the no gun list, that may be legal, like they do with mentally incompetent. In other news, shooter probably a homosexual himself: http://m.palmbeachpost.com/news/news/orlando-shooter-omar-mateen-was-gay-former-classma/nrfwW/ I thought it might have something to do with self-hatred. If he is, i wonder how many joining ISIS are. Gotta be a whole lot of bum-bum-fun over there.
  6. Omar's father seems to be quite loopy as well: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/orlando-shooting-omar-mateen-father-seddique-mateen-taliban-god-punish-gays/ EDIT// More about Omar's family: https://twitter.com/JohnGort/status/742170154247688192/photo/1 https://twitter.com/Cernovich/status/742204925271285760?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Interesting.
  7. You raise an interesting point .....no I didnt do any of those things you mentioned. I always had male friends but I was raised in a matriarch society and when I left school all my groups of friends had men and women in the groups so I had no interest in "malebonding " ? But talking about female co-workers boobs size would be very inappropriate...but when I am at home with my friends I will comment about women who I find attractive but I think I do it in a way that doesn't objectify them Interesting, I have no further questions. But it explains a lot, i have taken a lot for granted. Meshugger I am always really interested in what people think motivates me and what I really stand for when it comes to a forum like this, so please elaborate a little further ? I know some people have a negative view of me and sometimes that has been my fault but after reading LK long opinion of me I realized just how bad and incorrect some opinions of me are...and if I can change it when it comes to some members I would like to. Of course there are some people who dont like me and thats okay because I dont mind them disliking me And this is not one of those attempts where I actually want people to now respond to my post with comments " I like you, you not so bad ". I do know the people on this forum who interact with me and I appreciate there efforts to engage with me But going back to what you mentioned about "it explains a lot "...what do you mean? Why would my response mean that..and please be honest as I do appreciate constructive criticism Instead of writing a long description, i will recommend you watching "Stand By Me" (1986). If the ending doesn't hit you in the gut or makes you understand it emotionally, then i cannot help you. As for the election. Anyone having cliff notes about Trump's speech today? As i understand it would've been about Hillary, but it was about the attack in Orlando instead.
  8. - "B-b-but, sir. I promise, i forgot at it at home! The alarm clock never went off, the wife is sick and i had to rush the kids to the kindergarden and" - "Just shut up citizen and arm yourself immidiately. You will now be issued with a standard issue .305 rifle and fine for not carrying a non-concealed weapon. The value of the rifle will be added to your annual tax report, according the 28th amendment in the United States Constitution. You will not try to commit a federal crime now would you citizen?" -"N-n-n-no, sir!" *The man sobs as he grabs the rifle and deeply regrets his foolish decision of putting other matters at hand first before the constitution* *The sheriff looks proudly at the horizon as the citizen continued his travels. He inhaled freedom and exhaled liberty for the rest of the day*
  9. I friendly reminder of gun violence, where it happens, among which demographics, correlations with poverty and so on if you want a bigger picture of the situation.
  10. I am paying more than that by a good deal. But it isn't about the 'rich' not paying their fair share, it's about the fact you cannot grow any wealth below a certain income level, while those at the top are able to grow their wealth extremely fast. Clearly the solution is more low wage illegal immigration. WOD lets say Trump is elected president What are the things you absolutely expect him to do? MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN Beautiful statement. Very high energy! I really like that poster, you really have to like him. Give him a nice hat.
  11. Kinda sorta. Imo, something will have to give eventually. These cases aren't going away, they will become more and more prevalent. I think we all agree that banning guns isn't going to work so whats next? We could of course ignore it and just deal with the tragedies as they happen or we could try to be proactive. This guys weapon purchases were 100% legit. Now what? I was just ****ing with you, relax But truth to be told, the whole thing fell apart on two distinct factors: 1) the guy had all the training and clearance to get a gun lawfully anywhere in the world and 2) He was on a watchlist on the FBI and had been called into question at least twice. So all this talk about banning guns or increasing is survaillence is moot because those two elements fell on a fundamental level. The failure was the necessary people to do their jobs properly, but that sounds so boring that i can bet it is forgotten within a month.
  12. Good greif, i hope that you're joking.
  13. How can anyone dislike Hogan? He's a manly-man-man https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4pmMmppmlo Just hanging around him makes you a sexual tyrannosaurus.
  14. Hopefully it will have better development and final execution than the previous Call of Cthulhu, botched by Bethesda.
  15. Well I enjoyed DA2, it was fun but Bioware took noticeable shortcuts ...but that game had the love of my life ...Isabela
  16. Breivik loved Dragon Age 2. Now let that sink in for a while.
  17. According to this source, the guy have been working for a contractor for Department of Homeland Security since 2007. http://counterjihad.com/isis-infiltrated-homeland-security-orlando-terrorist-worked-major-dhs-contractor I would say that the doors are quite open for those who are tenacious enough.
  18. The religious extreme right has been quite tolerant lately, in fact i haven't heard of any attacks on gay prides or abortion clinics lately, both of which are targets to them. Surely you're not trying to equate Islamic terrorism with Christian terrorism in the US? They have nothing in common culturally or theologically. Rather, i would say comparing the both as equals requires a certain amount of mental gymnastics of which is more worrying. As for the usual gun control issue, Gromnir is right and the rest of you are wrong. I also suspect that there's a dimension jealousy stemming from low self-esteem that guides people who are not from the US to have these false concerns about the weaponry of private US citizens. More so than actual concerns and a true love for peace.
  19. So this guy was a registered democrat, had undergone security training, gotten a license for concealed carry and gotten access to extra weaponry. I have to say, the guy sure went through great length to not be registered as the usual suspect by the authorities.
  20. RIP to those killed.
  21. 50 dead? This can't be just something that happened out of the blue. This have to have been carefully planned.
  22. The Libertarians are kicking into high-gear:

But it explains a lot, i have taken a lot for granted. "Malebonding"? Yeah, leave it to you to elevate lad culture to a sort of essential element of manhood. Nothing especially manly about kicking back with a beer in hand and trading lame **** jokes. I quit "malebonding" in my mid-20s because, frankly, it's boring as ****. I'm not sure if you understand my point, because i do not think that someone would stop seeing their childhood friends/best friends just because it was boring. The talk about boobs, ****, and toilet humor was to signify the level of trust built upon each other on a base level that you only find in long term male friendship. Talking about political platitudes, types of grapes in wine and golf can be done on any dinner with acquaintances or business customers. Perhaps it is the other way around in the mediterrenean countries?
  24. This is the type of criticism I dont understand....why is a photo with Hilary and and another women holding doughnuts considered funny or strange? Sigh. Look at the donuts and think of the female reproductive system. Okay thanks for explaining, I still dont see any humor in the photo but we all have different things that amuse us Do you actually hang out with other men? Like childhood friends? Just curious. No I dont ? Why do you think that matters...what would I gain Malebonding usually entails such humor, especially among good friends that you can confide in. When you phrase it as "something to gain", it sounds like you do not understand the concept to begin with. Just to be really sure and there's no language-barrier. I am talking about the camaradiere from going out fishing/hunting on a weekend with your friends, drinking, talking about which female co-worker having the biggest boobs, who was the biggest **** in high-school, your and your friends earlier conquests, all those might've-beens or should've-hads, toilet humor and so on. Fascinating in itself that you aren't aware of it.
