  1. Linearity will not make or break a Final Fantasy game IMO. But most importantly, does FFXII have the Final Fantasy-feel to it? I'm a bit worried since it's Matsuno who is the director and not Kitase, who has been involved in FFVII, FFVIII, FFXI and FFX. Also the music has always played a significant role in the FF-series, since Uematsu isn't in this one, i'm also worried about FFXII having an avarage soundtrack.
  2. This is strange, Oblivion gets a 9 or a 10 with nil roleplaying options, avarage story, no partymembers to enhance the atmosphere and zero replayability but NWN2 which apparantly has a incredible story, interesting partymembers, multiplayer ability, great roleplaying and alot of replayability gets an 8?
  3. Since i have a modded PS2, i'm importing my copy. Should be any day now.
  4. When there's a list of the scariest games ever, Undying is of some reason almost always left out. Almost like the reviewers didn't play it themselves. A great game in its own right, it was
  5. Agreed. With System Shock 2 being behind Doom 3, the list seems very flawed indeed.
  6. You're highly mistaked, very few games are as good as Final Fantasy X.
  7. Hmmm, the man shares the same ideas as the Lead Designer of Oblivion. Call me pessimistic, but it seems like i will not play a third installment of the Fallout series, but rather a post-apocalyptic fps/rpg-hybrid with booze, mutants and whores with a first person perspective. It just happened to be called Fallout 3, but it isn't a Fallout game.
  8. That only means another week has passed. Don't get too excited. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It means that they aren't behind schedule atleast
  9. The videos are actually showing something of the interface, hopefully one can bind those techniques to any key, and not just by 1-9.
  10. I still remember the ad "Welcome to the third place", with film noir camera angles and a talking duck. Nothing new to see here folks, move along now.
  11. IMO, why Kreia deliberately chose to use difficult words and ramble about the nature of the Sith and the Jedi alike, was just a way to point out her insanity and her character. And that made her interesting. Her being evil from the start wasn't a plot-twist at all, atleast i never interpreted that it was supposed to be a shocker. The plot wasn't deep or complex either, it was simply a personal journey for the Exile, and that's were it succeeded with great use of skills in conversation, influence and so on. Finally, The 'complex'-part is just buzzword created by the reviewers, unable to write something with actual content in order to satisfy the ADHD-generation of subcribers of their magazines.
  12. I don't if it's been mentioned before, but how about a real big pazaak tournament? Really difficult to win, but it comes with a great prize. Also, upgradable swoopbikes this time. That's all for now.

    SNOW!!!!

It's nice to have snow at this time of the year, too bad that i currently live in the city that has the heat-record in Finland, so no snow here. Luckily, my parents live up north, so atleast i can enjoy a white christmas every year when i visit them.
  15. This might be something, ofcourse it's been some 12 years since i played the original though.
  16. They'll check into that when the PC version has reached build 1.0c
  17. You can? I have to try that one out.
  18. Over-the-top-80's action with silly dialogue, might work if they go Predator/Death Wish-style. The gameplay doesn't look any interesting though, co-op is probably were this game shines.
  19. ME is done on the Unreal Engine 3.0, and do we remember Feargus' wishes on making KotOR III? He wanted it to be done.....on the Unreal Engine 3.0
  20. If ME is anything that JE was, i don't care which platform it will be released on, i will not buy it. I got screwed by buying the Limited Edition of JE already.
