  1. Not even Squaresoft (Square-Enix?) does it like that. I think that he referred to the Xenosaga-series.
  2. The problem with this is that "interesting good games" is a subjective notion. And given the sales volume of EA, it would seem that a lot of people would disagree with your idea of what makes an "interesting good game". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, i should've pointed that out earlier. Record companies make millions based on MTV-semi-hip-hop-pop, but that doesn't mean that they release albums that are of any interest to me. I wouldn't mind investing in them though. EA makes millions of gamers happy, but not me, and that's all that matters in my case.
  3. And that's incompatible with making games how exactly? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The ratio of interesting good games and general quality are plummeting due to this philosophy. Don't get me wrong, EA is a great company that i would invest in (buying stock and so on...), but i would just not buy their products
  4. EA has already proven more than ever that they aren't making games. They're a big company that are manufacturing products, which should sell to the right demographic group, researched by marketers, based of trends of a segmented share of people, who have the highest amount of money to spend, to fit the excel-based diagram that the board shows for its share-holders.
  5. At the time, october-november 2004, LA was in financial trouble and had to cut back on alot different projects such as KotOR 3. But, KotOR sold 2 million and KotOR 2 sold 1.5 million, so there shouldn't be any financial reason of NOT making a third one of the series. Revenge of the Sith, Lego Star Wars, Battlefront and merceneries were all >1 million sellers, so LA shouldn't be in a financial trouble right now either. What i am trying to say is, i have no clue on why KotOR 3 haven't been announced
  6. Yes! Skeeter's Junkyard it is
  7. I think that Gromnir said it best, something in the vein of every face in Morrowind and Oblivion looked like it was painted on a balloon.
  8. It follows the art direction of the game quite nicely
  9. No loading times, nice. But of some reason, it seems like the graphics have taken a turn for the worse (maybe they showcased it with a sh1tty computer?).
  10. NoMeansNo - "This Story Must be Told" followed by, Strapping young Lad - "All Heil the New Flesh"
  11. Judging from the videos, not much. It looks like a solid fps, but it's no Deus Ex, System Shock 2, Undying, Unreal or Halo for that matter. F.E.A.R. had a more interesting theme and gameplay than GoW.
  12. Like Gears of War, hyped up to the clouds for reasons i don't know.
  13. Clive Barker's Undying What a shame that this game didn't get sequel
  14. Wait, wait, wait. MS releases a patch for the Xbox360 to fully utilize its dx10-features. Has there ever even been such an debate whether or not such a patch will be released?
  15. According to the updated lightsaber-bars, the team is now ~91% done. Keep up the good work fellas!
  16. Before answering this, are you aware on what exactly was cut from KotOR II?
  17. Don't be silly. It's not the story itself that carries 99% of all games trough. It's how it's told that matters. And that's why there's a restoration mod in the works.
  18. Planescape: Torment remake! LoLoLOLOLLOl!!!!!!oneone (w00t)
  19. Large-scaled battles based on the "rock, papers, scissors"-system?
  20. DMCA have nothing to say in Finland, so i'll continue to download tabs as much as i like. Copyrighting someones impression of a song, pfeh.
  21. 1. KotOR III (self evident) 2. Final Fantasy XII (Longest FF so far, great gameplay) 3. Final Fantasy XIII (Uematsu, please return for another killer soundtrack) 4. Neverwinter Nights 2 (Better be more done than KotOR 2) 5. Halo 3 (Better have an ending) 6. Ninja Gaiden 2 (Xbox360, PS3...what?) 7. Mass Effect (The story seems to be very simplistic though) 8. God of War II (YES!) 9. Red Steel (I want that katana) 10. Bioshock (Great art, don't know about the story or the gameplay)
