  1. Far from it. It fitted the setting perfectly. Deus Ex is a classic that should be enjoyed by every gamer. Same with System Shock 2.
  2. BAH! If it has to be Requiem I will take it. It's better than nothing since Masquerade is gone. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd rather have nothing than a crappy vampire game. Actually, I wouldn't have nothing. I'd have a good game rather than a crappy vampire one as the company would have made something else. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How do we know that it will be a craptastic game, if ever developed? While the new setting seems less dark and apocalyptic, it gives the developer more freedom to write down a good story.
  3. Seriously, has Darque hacked into Hades account?
  4. For those who have no idea what i am ranting about: Vampire: Masquerade-setting Game: Redemption Game: Bloodlines World of Darkness-setting Vampire: The Requiem - setting
  5. Since Bloodlines has a nice following at this board, and that White Wolf discontinued the Masquerade-series. I've been wondering if Obsidian or any other RPG-developer has any interest in the Requiem-series. The most positive about the new revision is that the the whole "Caine/Gehenna/Thin-blood"-setting was ditched, less clans and more covenants are available, giving more options and freedom to developers to make their own story. Thoughts? Ideas?
  6. What? It's not as if it's classified. Fact is, sure Bill can say he tried. But we don't need to hear his excuses or rationalizations, or how we should all read **** Clark's book. And we definitely don't need him claiming Bush didn't do enough to prevent 9/11 when he let Bin Laden get away himself. Crap like this doesn't help our situation at all. We need people to just take responsibility for their actions and stop blaming others. Bill tried, but he screwed it up. Bush tried harder, he screwed it up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey, atleast give the guy some credit for admitting that he failed on catching Bin Laden. What politican admits failing at anything? And keep your eyes off most commercial news-channels.
  7. Exactly. This game was originally announced on the PC, and that is all that matters. Who cares on which console it's released on?
  8. Before the game is out, a great mod is already in the works. Excellent!
  9. Errr, even if the other platforms have GREAT graphics, wii still wins because of the gameplay-options?
  10. Too bad that there isn't a graphic-card that can manage those graphics @ 30 fps yet
  11. From his last interview, the very last question: -"What would you like to say to all those kids, aspiring to become great rockstars as you?" -"Quit"
  12. Sheeesh, it's never a good time to upgrade
  13. I think I know what you mean. Remember the initial announcement in 2004? With the cool Insect-human-abomination artwork and the abandoned Nazi-Lab setting? I thought that was way more interesting. Yeah sure, evil Nazis who made crazy experiments sounds a little overused, but it wasn't a WW2 shooter, but set sometime in the near future where you would discover an old Nazi-Lab and encounter creatures more inspired of "The Fly". I'm not unhappy with the new underwater-setting either, but the BigDaddies or Splicers aren't closely as scary as humans turning into Insects. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. Maybe they haven't showcased much the atmosphere yet, compared to the gameplay.
  14. "...great importance to on a very good quality which suits the expectations of the fans" I think i'll wait for the reviewers to be the judge of that.
  15. True. The only argument should be scariness of the game. If they are able to match/go above the levels of fear that one experienced in SS2, then they have a winner.
  16. Different builds/photographs from a monitor/screenshots manupilated in photoshop/screenshots on different settings, jada, jada, jada.... By that, yes, it's a bit difficult to tell if the graphics are great or not.
  17. You will void your warranty but you will not get arrested or pay a fine for it.
  18. So, a Core Duo E6600, a Radeon X1900XTX and 2048mb RAM should run this game in frames of mid-30's? I'll wait for the patch.
  19. Quite evidently, this is a violation of your privacy. This function will be removed for users in the EU.
  20. Sure Troika had very unpolished and buggy games, but one can not hide the fact that they had very interesting concepts and ideas in gamedesign. Too bad their marketing and business model was of the quality highschool C-student. Bloodlines is a better game than Jade Empire though
