The ones that i liked (anime only): Series: - Berserk (Fantasy, but without the magic. Ruthless and brutal) - Cowboy Bebop (Future Sci-fi) - Hellsing (If you want to see a anti-hero that is bad-ass beyond comprehension) - HunterXHunter (Adventure) - Escaflowne (A blend of fantasy, samurais, mechas and a little philosophy) - Full Metal Alchemist (The initial plot seems silly, but the characters makes you hooked) - Rurouni Kenshin (A story of a man named Kenshin, the legendary Hitikiri Battousai, who tries to find a new life in a world where the samurai-caste i abolished) - Samurai deeper Kyo (Same as Hellsing, but the story takes place in 17th-century japan, and ofcourse with samurais) - Samurai Champloo (Samurais again, but more of a comedy) - Neon Genesis Evangelion (I don't really find it great, but it's a must see nevertheless. Have fun figuring out the ending though) Some hit/or miss series: - Naruto (Ninjas! but only the first 135 episodes, the rest are bad, really bad. Wait until the anime starts following the manga again) - Bleach (It's about a 17 year old boy "accidently" becoming a Shinigami, a "death god" by japanese mythology, but very comical at times. The main story ends at episode 62, wait until it continues when they start to follow the manga again) Movies: - The Grave of Fireflies (This one can make even thoughest guy shed a tear, saddest movie of any spectrum) - Ninja Scroll (Very mature and dark movie about, well, Ninjas!) - Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (Very well drawn, it doesn't insult the viewer) Some of my favourite characters: Gatsu, Berserk Alucard, Hellsing Zakari Kenpachi, Bleach //EDIT: Except for maybe Hellsing and Cowboy Bebop, never, NEVER watch an dubbed anime. 99% of the times the story and characters are destroyed because of sloppy voice-overs. Watch the originals with japanese dubs and english subtitles.

I've just played a couple of hours, but the story and the overall feel dances around the original NWN1 OC. I couldn't even finish the original OC, because i found it so incredibly boring. It seems like this: If you liked, no more like loved, NWN1, you will hate this game, since it feels and plays very differently than the original. But on the other hand, if you loathed or found NWN1 to be boring, chance are that you will probably like NWN2 (This doesn't apply to Volourn, mind you). I had the same thoughts about UT2003 when it was released, i expected the regular + better graphics, sound and new levels. But what i got was a completely different game (even in atmosphere), and loathed it, since i thought that UT99 was the perfect online-game.

NWN2 is not even near the level of bugs that haunted Bloodlines or ToEE for that matter, stating anything else as an empirical truth is a flat out lie. It's very inconsistent though, meaning that some some systems experience nothing and others have game-stopping bugs, crashes and terrible performance. From my experience, it seems like people who own the Geforce 6xxx and 7xxx-series are having a great time with it, and Ati-users are left out in the dark.

Everybody has an opinion, i guess.

"Hitler had the right idea, he was just an underachiever! KILL 'EM ALL ADOLF!" - Bill Hicks after someone yelled Freebird at him. Actually, the yelling of "Freebird" was originally meant as an insult. It's meant to be shouted at someone terrible. :D My current pet peeve: People who hate Bill Hicks

I just checked my PSU again, and i was mistaken about the supply. It's a cheap Chieftec with a max load of 410W, so it has to be the culprit. I just ordered a LC-Power 550W super silent (19dB, 140mm fan), i hope that it will be enough.

Just tried that aswell, working perfectly. One thing that i discovered was that switching the 6V-pins to a single 12V-pin to my graphics-card made the whole "MAC: 00-00-00-00-00-00"-issue disappear. Now, it just reboots without any LAN-error
-
I had it running (windiag) for 2 hours without a hitch, no lockups, errors or crashes during that period
-
I'm running Peerguardian in the background, but i don't see why that would make my onboard LAN go heywire

My new computer is behaving very strangely since since my hardware update, reboots mostly while gaming, but also sometimes when watching a moive. Even though i'm a computer engineer, i can't seem to locate the origin of this error Specs: - Intel Core 2 Duo e6300 (no O/C) - 2 GB OEM DDR2 RAM (533mhz @ 1.8volts) - MSI Geforce 7900GTO 512 MB RAM (driver version: 91.48) - Abit Ab9 Pro (Bios version: 1.5) (Newest Intel chipset drivers) - Onboard Realtek 882D HD audio (driver version: 1.47) - Onboard LAN (1x for my internet connection, 1x for my local network connection with my girlfriend, newest driver from Realtek) - Maxtor SATA 250GB (filedump) - Maxtor ATA 80 GB (Windows, boot-device) - A DVD-player - A Floppy station - Logitech cordless keyboard EX110 (the cordless mouse broke down) - A PS2 optical mouse - 425W PSU OS: - Windows XP SP2 Temps: - CPU idle: 41 C, load: 48 C - Case idel 33 C, load 36 C Symptoms: - Sudden reboot almost instantly when the game starts: Prey, Quake 4 and Doom III - Complete random reboot(either none at all through a day, or several per hour): KotOR, KotOR II, NWN2, Bloodlines, Deus Ex + watching movies What i've tried: - Disabling audio completely, changing audio-drivers, updating bios for the motherboard, changing Lan-drivers, changing videocard-drivers, changing Intel chipset drivers and re-installing windows, twice. Other wierd stuff: - The problem seems to be at a very low level since windows doesn't manage to write anything down to its regular dump-file or registring anything at the event-viewer. Also, while rebooting after a forced crash, my bios says that both of my LAN Mac addresses are: "00-00-00-00-00-00" and it updates my DMI-pool and windows fails to start. This disappears after a manual reboot. What i know: - Since windows fail to log (or any game for that matter) any errors, it has to be some low-level software/hardware failure. - It can be my LAN farking up. - Onboard Audio should be out of the question, same symptoms even if i disable the darn thing in the BIOS. - My PSU is dying. - My whole motherboard is giving (I hope not!) Anyone have a clue on what this might be?

Meshugger replied to CoM_Solaufein's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Clickie yeah <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, atleast Avellone and Urquhart are still very interested in making a third KotOR game, too bad that Lucasarts haven't shown any interest at all. -

Can we have a list of NWN2's joinable NPCs?
Meshugger replied to ramza's topic in Computer and Console
Are all those available through the game? Or are a couple gender/alignment based? If so, which ones are what? -
Yeah, i forgot about the Volourn people

Some people want to read the reviews before purchase, others like the mere numbers and statistics.
-
Judging from the review itself, i found it somewhat interesting that they actually gave it a 9.0, due to the many complaints about performance and A.I.
-
Yeah, really. I love it how they use the song "Mars: The bringer of War" by Gustav Holst in such a hilarious way. Nerdvana, i tell, nerdvana.
