At least select a song that gets the adrenaline going and the bloodlust rising. I choose this one: Why? Because lines like "You won't be able to breathe, So either way you're a casualty" and "Either way it's all gonna burn" seem to fit the tone of this election, not to mention the backstory for the rock opera it's from involves mixed feelings that range from wanting to commit suicide to feeling more determined than ever to put a stop to things. I mean c'mon, this is a clear contender. The USA is actually a pretty important exporter in a lot of various medical fields. People always wonder wtf the USA exports since so many American goods are crap, but American medical supplies are pretty world renowned. By the sounds of it, Ireland likely works hand in hand with the US on those markets and helps supply some of the more basic resources, thus my guess would be USA gladly imports from Ireland as a deficit because they can use those goods to produce many of it's top exports for a net gain. Just a hunch. I hear you, but the music itself needs to have that berserker rage dimension to get you going. Heck, it doesn't even need to be metal:

It was normal Trump demagoguery. I find much of what he says insincere, he had his normal crowds of clapping sycophants...most of those people would cheer and clap if Trump said " you people are all fools and I hate you " He is also trying really hard to mend the damage he has done with women in the USA so we have to listen to his daughter and other lady friends constantly sayings irritating things like " My Dad was the best dad and use to write me positive notes for school ....he was always so supportive of me and other women " Its theater for me and false , he has offended far to many women when it suited him and he will pay the price in the election ...his family cant save him and the sexist reputation he has Well, since the only ones alienated by him are unmarried, childless, left-wing women and men taking care of children that aren't theirs to begin with, as in damaged goods, one can easily say that they have no future in Trump's America and we should pay no heed to them Just a bunch of losers, very sad!

There might be a legitimate security concern, but what the public sees is that it is a-ok to broadcast images of dead refugee children on the shores of Greece while it is verboten to do the same of your own children by terrorist attacks.

Just started watching, but apparently even devoted #NeverTrump people thought it was one of the best speeches in recent republican history. Thanks! I am in for a longer flight within the next couple of days, i might as well watch it during that.

Turns out that he wasn't bull****ting, he was actually spat upon. Did anyone btw watch Trump's speech? Any good?

TRIGGERED. The Romanovs were invited to take residence in one of the historical palaces in St. Petersberg or Crimea and start taking a ceremonial role in the government again. Only a matter of time before Russia becomes a constitutional monarchy and becomes the Russian Imperial Federation. Wait, it's not a mere meme that Putin wants to restore the Romanovs? Oh my, hahaha.

Yeah! Sure told Alex Jones! Did you see that guy calling the other guy a liar? Did you hear the girl totally owning him by calling him a fat loser and a bitch! Wooooo! No really, what a bunch of children. If a guy you don't like shows up with a ****-eating grin on his face and talks like your drunk uncle on christmas, you better not lose your cool, because you will end up looking worse than he does.

You seem to forget that this is Ted Cruz that you're talking about. Few people display such dishonest character traits such as he does.

Okay http://youtu.be/M2ARjT4H1jg We don't see eye to eye on much, but when it comes to women, you hit it right on the spot. Saluer, mon ami!

I wonder how long the french will be able to take it? The premier, Walls, was booed at the Nice vigil yesterday. But still, Alizee makes me turn into a cartoon character and howl like a wolf.

Someone has been reading Mao, it seems. I wonder how long it will take until we will see people's courts springing up with dubious trials.

Meshugger would you consider yourself an objective commentator on what society should deem as trivial ? How does your mind work really? I am asking the journalists to stop trying to create narratives and instead report as objectively as possible on the events at the convention; simply to do their jobs.
-
The whole hoopla about speech plagiarizing has reached the news here as well. "It has sparked a discussion", as they say. No, it is the journalists who have hung up on something trivial as this.

So it turns out the guy was another war veteran.. like in the other shooting. I suppose, by the logic of many here- that this should put all veterans under scrutiny right? Maybe you should add veterans identifying themselves as black. At least for shooting police officers. At least for the killings in Dallas and Baton Rouge.

Yes, we are by and large biological automatons, ruled by impulses and instincts that stem from brain structures that first appeared over 200 million years ago. Of course, that's not all we are, but it's not an either/or thing, and the factors discussed don't have exactly the same weight in influencing human conduct. While the upper levels of Maslow's hierarchy of needs have come under much criticism, I haven't seen any serious dispute of the base (physiological and safety) needs, which, when under threat, will trigger strong responses that we aren't necessarily in control of, and which are most certainly not rational. Thought precedes action, unless it's instinct-driven. Do'h, i meant preceeds action, but i take it that it was understood that way anyway. But that is my point, there's little to no recognition of anything else in modern policies other than Maslow's needs, which is one of the reason why society is spiralling into further turmoil.

?? As for the rest, i would suggest looking at the bigger picture than through a materialist lense. Yes, economic development stiffles the revolutionary soul for a while as the normal base needs are satiated. But you should not deny of the spiritual, as thought always proceeds action and i think that you are aware that different groups of people have different logos, pathos, ethos and the how those are transcribed into thought, values and how they should be imposed on others. Otherwise poverty and human development at large would have exactly the same type of problems, no matter where you are. Reducing humans as mere automatons who need to be fed certain material things is a very, very dangerous route to take.

How strange they didn't shoot it down, interesting. Why are you entertaining Oby's posts and assessments as factual or based on the reality of any global conflict ? Are you that bored? Now don't you worry now. My attention for you will not diminish despite me reaching out to other people. My concern has always been about people believing misinformation about the West, the EU and the future of the lifestyles we are use to and cherish. And those lifestyles are based and grounded on Western ideology which just means things like Governments elected by the people and accountable to the people Effective governments that maintain institutions Governments that respect the rule of law and order Governments that respect human rights Economies that are driven and sustained by the free market These are part of the structures that basically all Western countries and Western societies adhere to and these systems work !!!! Thats why the citizens of Western countries have the best quality of life and in most cases also have the happiest citizens in the world You make it sound like those things just popped into existence; nothing does. The existence of those institutions are manifestations of the values of the people inhabiting in those states. Not the other way around. Just look how a top-down order like Kemalism have completely deteriorated to effectively become extinct now in Turkey. And in other news:

Have they caught the guy yet?

So "Bikers for Trump" have said they will not allow any disturbance by BLM at the convention. Those 300 police officers with bicycles are gonna have to work double time.
