  2. A german newspaper that printed some of the Charlie Hebdo cartoons got firebombed last night. http://www.straitstimes.com/news/world/europe/story/german-paper-printed-charlie-hebdo-cartoons-hit-arson-attack-say-the-police-
  3. It's like that Leroy Jenkins thing.
  4. What is this Common Core-thing and why is it bad/good?
  5. ^Awesome, keep on hammering.
  6. Oh, good. So we can look forward to Anonymous hacking their machines, ruining the evidence chain, and destroying criminal prosecutions, just like they did with other criminals? Vigilante justice ...away! i do not know french so i can hardly translate that properly and say what are their exact intentions. I assume lockout of various internet communication channels, but if so, this may do more harm than good, since the same channels might be monitored to gain intelligence on some people and possibly thus mitigate other risks. on the other news, that jewelry store hostage situation seems unrelated to the other attacks. most likely an armed robbery attempt that went wrong apparently one of the terrorists was trained in Al-Qaeda camps in Yemen EDIT: the president of France is a retard... "the ones that committed these crimes have nothing to do with muslm religion. The attack on the supermarket was an act of anti-semitism " The political correctness at its finest... peak of mount stupid... I wonder if the policewoman shot on patrol by the same people who later attacked the supermarket was also a victim of non-muslim act of antisemitism (sarcasm) She probably had internalized zionism.
  7. It seems to have been a simultanious operation. It sounded much more violent in Kosher Food Mart. //edit: CNN says that the authorities have said that both operations have been "satisfactory". Interesting choice of words.
  8. Talk about **** stirring, 8chan is down again. First Reddit, then Patreon cutting funds exclusively, and now this. Twitter is next.
  9. Rumors say that 3 people have died at the Kosher food house attack.

  11. Telling of what? That people are angry at feminist for infiltrating and subverting online media, they shouldn't be allowed to be angry and criticize. "Inflitrating?" "Subverting?" What those quotes were telling of is that GamerGate is little more than another crackpot conspiracy theory. Such language does little to disabuse me that this is gaming's equivalent of the Red Scare. "We GamerGaters do not avoid women...but we do deny them our essence..." Ungood language makes association to unpersons.
  12. - The current state is to ever expose corruption. They are the Paladins of our society. - What they have done is that they have managed to make FTC change their guidelines for covert commercial linking: http://www.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/comments/2nz204/important_ftc_update_4_ftc_confirms_that_yes/ - They have by Gawkers own admission cost them millions in lost revenue - Raised for so many charities that i do not even remember - The future objective is to burn down Gawker and Vox media, expose all frauds in the industry (like FemFreq) and promote sites to have better standards.
  13. Nah, it just shows that no one should take their opinions seriously. Twitter is full with people like him.
  14. Know your enemy: http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2015/01/07/islam-allah-muslims-shariah-anjem-choudary-editorials-debates/21417461/
  15. Names of the of the ones arrested, if you believe the jungle-telegraph:
  16. Well, well, well. What kind of admission do we got here?
  17. Yep, http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/01/07/us-france-shooting-germany-islam-idUSKBN0KG1TO20150107 Oh yeah? Well i am gonna up the ante then: It was actually about ethics in game journalism! Topical: The police have allegedly identified the gun men and are in pursuit in the city of Reims.
  18. I noticed the same thing, you can see it pretty well on the windscreen of that police car, tight palm sized patterns. Definitely not your average Muslim attack, smells of military training and actual combat experience. Yeah, that was the picture that i was thinking about.
  19. I have been looking more at the videos and pictures surrounding the case, and quite a few things stand out from the typical islamist attack: 1) These were not your typical muslim failure-men, they wore skimasks, had kevlar suits and knew how to use assault rifles. Anyone who has been in the military quickly recognizes how tight bullet spray pattern were. 1-3 shots fire each time instead of full auto. 2) According to witnesses, they appeared in calm manner and only shot directly at the targets. No Rambo-style 3) They spoke french fluently without accent according to witnesses 4) The movement outside the building shows that they have atleast have had basic military training 5) They had a getaway plan that included switching cars This had to have been carefully planned by people who have had training on combat. Not your typical "kill all infidels!"-jihadists.
  20. So on one hand you want to make this a free speech issue and on the other you want to report others who would exercise that speech to the authorities... And never mind that it's not possible that the cartoon linked is the one that allegedly upset the men who perpetrated the killings. Go you... Oh, i didn't mean as to remove the content itself. I meant it as a security issue: "Who are those guys?" "Lets check....well look at that. Seems like this guy is working as a subcontractor in the arms industry, and wait, isn't that the same guy that's a person of interest in the case of beheading of Miss Jones? Quite interesting."
  21. Did the shooters actually manage to escape? Jesus
  22. This is the picture posted just before the attack: https://twitter.com/Charlie_Hebdo_/status/552773881283764224/photo/1 I expect any newspaper that truly believes in the freedom of the press to republish it. Also, if any one of you see anyone on the internet (twitter, imgur, instagram, facebook) that salute the killers, archive it and report it to the authorities.
