Exactly. That's why you mustn't budge at first. If you do, well, then you're gonna get fuc*** by just about every internet demographic out there. Devs need to follow Daniel Vavra's example and just refuse to change anything. They've given up on him and his game. I mean I'm sure they'll give him hell again when the game gets released, but it'll blow over. I think the best devs to follow would be these guys, mainly Kamiya (I could post several images showing why I love this guy). George Kamitani is fine too. Japanese games are horrible... I am offended on the behalf of people i do not know in an industry that i have no part of. I immidiately demand an apology for such xenophobic behaviour.

I have a suspicion that the christians did not make the pass to marginalized group while the muslims did. You see, according to the narrative of structurialism, it is not as bad since the muslim are fighting upwards against those in power. Sure, i can tell you it is quite embarressing with the use of over-violence, but the lesser people sometimes cannot help themselves, you know? After all, evil is just a relative concept to the social group practicing it, so you better not judge. Or i could be completely wrong. Just a little brain-storming here, chief.

Remember the link between Gamasutra, IGF and UBM? How they are acting as the 'content controller' for indies? Contests being rigged and certain games being praised? How people colluded with each other all the time? Now who's the head honcho of UBM again? Well, ****....i'm gonna play PoE for a while now. I need to rest.

MOAR No wonder gamers had to die, no wonder the fun had to end. It should be a "didactic" experience when the proles learn the narrative. //Edit: Where's the money-trail though? Who funds these people?

Don't worry. 8chan just went into overdrive with something completely different: http://8ch.net/gamergatehq/res/31467.html#31467 TL;DR(as far as i can tell)-version: The subservsion started at least back in 2009 with the usual suspects. Conferences talking about changing games according to the ideas of critical theory. Centralization of bringing non-violent positive messages in gaming as medium and so on. No one asked the gamers what they thought. //Edit: Someone else made a better summary:

KP, Longknife: Seems like the very design of Reddit is crap, no wonder.

Am i the only one finding it funny that 8chan seems to have less drama about this compared to KiA?

Well today i learned that it is common sense, modus operandi, or whatever you might call it to listen to the whims of people who support KILLALLMEN, rather than the core customers. What a world to live in, we are letting the demons run amok.

Limerick edit thread
Meshugger replied to Divinehammer's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
The new one pretty much a clever MIDDLE FINGER to those that complained about the original one. I like it. However, in the future. IGNORE THE CONSOLIDATED OUTRAGE INDUSTRY. You will lose customers otherwise, it is pretty much a guarantee.- 636 replies

The reason that these people exist is because we have no common enemy and they turn inwards instead. I suggest that we first must declare war with the Sun. Secondly, the first to go in a brave and glorius suicide mission will be the ones believing i the patriarchy and rape culture.

Zoraptor is taking the diplomatic approach here. I suggest that we nuke Mecca as preemptive measure to ward of against future attacks. Sure, there will be some complaining on Twitter about the human elements, but i believe in the long run, it is the best for all of us. Also, we aren't entirely ruthless. We can always build anew and rename the city to "Peaceville" with the world largest Disney Land and giant statue of a dove with an olive branch in its beak on the main square.

"Triggered Jazzhands" sounds like a name for an album by Frank Zappa.

Indiana's Freedom of Religion Law..controversial ?
Meshugger replied to BruceVC's topic in Way Off-Topic
Oww its indianas law.. I am a bit conflicted about this, I had the same issue with some anti-smoking laws. Whereas I am against smoking, I thought that private business should be able to choose. (in the extreme, a cigar club shouldn't have non smoker places just for my benefit\entertainment) As long as it is clearly marked, i'll just pick my money and go where I want. Anyway in the end, in most case public health argument won over the inconvenience of the business owners, however, with religion and belief its a bit different. Again in the extreme i don't see why orthodox christian wedding service should be sued for refusing to serve a guy couple, or an orthodox muslim for refusing to make a muhammad drawing or an orthodox jew serve for not serving kosher stuff.. According to the article: "It's actually the 20th state to adopt a "religious freedom restoration" law, most of which are modeled after the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which President Bill Clinton signed into law in 1993." So it has been working for a while, but isn't sutisfactory to the LGBT community, who is lobbying to promote its acceptance in religious circles, i caennot red. sory. -

This would never have happened if we all were allowed to shoot police officers.
