However, nor do I impugn him for drawing ideas from mythology; its more the fact that he doesnt just draw ideas, he steals the whole story and drops it almost intact into his writing. Every book since the first has been steadily worse in quality and I have heard he plans a total of 12 books in the series. Also, I recently learned he intends to set a new series (if he ever finishes this one) in the same world where a man washes up on Seanchan land and is taken as a slave. No word if this new character can channel, though I wouldnt doubt it if he did.

You can say ass. Name sounds more LOTR to me, especially since Arwen is the name of a major elf female character. Creating names is fairly easy. You are overprotective and overproud of a simple designation. The idea that someone would use that name for the main character and not allow people to choose their own is idiotic. And its spelled copyright.

No, you are correct, Sabahattin. There has been no credible evidence that K3 is or ever will be in development. That said, I like this idea as well, though as alanschu said the implementation would be very difficult. Also, I agree with Volourn's first comment. I am surprised and slightly pleased that you have made an intelligent and worthwhile thread, MTJ, instead of ridiculing and badgering others for their rejection of your previous bad ideas.

Hmm...I see your point about the mnemochive (mnemo = memory, ar[chive]). I got the idea from another book I read titled "The Golden Age" by John C. Wright. I highly recommend it by the way. It seemed to work there, but perhaps he is more eloquent than I. He is, however, in his 40's (I believe) as opposed to my 17. About Vikor (in case you hadnt noticed Vikor is a corruption of Viktor (his ancestor), I tried to redeem him as not all bad, but corrupted by an overbearing relative, but that seems to have fallen flat. I'll try to rewrite this chapter and have a new version by tonight. Im attending summer classes at a local college so I might not have anything otherwise until tomorrow afternoon. I searched for the book this is based on through Amazon and found this review: In "Hard To Be A God" the human race has reached higher stages of development and a relative harmony. Now they are dispatching "progressors" to help out the bachward planets. The scary thing is that when you read this book, you seem more familiar with the inhabitants of the poor planet than with the people from the future Earth. Terrans despise the actions and qualities of the planet inhabitants, but are unable to turn away; they have to be gods and gods have to be above emotions like hatred. I was underwhelmed by the trailer, though I did like the music. :D However, after reading the press release, the game seems interesting. Unfortunately, as ShadowPaladin said, the chance it will succeed or even come to the West is questionable. Then again, The Witcher did it, so who knows? I for one hope it does come. We haven't had many good RPGs in a long while.

I am not sure I truly understand your question. Do you mean mood as in the emotional tone of my work or mood as in the concepts behind it? If the first, I have no set disposition. If the latter, it is meant to be a commentary on whether we are the sum of our memories or something more.

While I agree this isnt one of my better chapters, unfortunately, "I liked it" or "I didnt like it" do little but tell me what chapters need work. Any specific areas you had problems with, besides the mnemochive? Any ideas on how to improve this chapter? And I believe all of the remaining chapters I have written contain either Karn, Sam, or both.
