  1. Started Outer Worlds 2 (using Gamepass) and played through the tutorial. It was great. The graphics are improved from the original. So far so good. I don't think it will win you over if you didn't like the original, but it seems like a solid sequel so far.

  2. Sometimes a solid sequel is all we need. Just have more fun of the fun we were already having.

  3. Seeing melathi's post about Hogwarts Legacy I decided to give it ago before Outer Worlds2. Yeah, I liked it more then I expected. I thought they managed to capture the universe rather well. Definitely the amount of murdering player does feels rather odd. And while I mostly found story to be fairly alright, there were couple points I felt the inability to react to things felt really odd. Main character doesn't really have a personality but the game also doesn't allow players to express themselves in spite of conversation options. There were quite a few things, especially in the latter part of the game, were I feel characters just move on from some things that really asked to be brought up. Overall, better then I expected. As I enjoyed early Harry Potter books and films in primary school, HL managed to pull my nostalgia strings. Started Outer Worlds2 - looks promising so far. Opening mission promised reactivity that I missed in the original game had. Adding to it the overall buzz around the game, I think I will enjoy this one.

  4. There is no interst to explore this world. World is dead.NPC's dont react even when i steal their stuuf infront of them. They just stand around doing nothing. Not even smallest simulation of life. I dont want why i bother nobody cares. This game is dead on release. I could point a few things but i dont thing anyone will listen. 1:Backpacks.All kinds must be added. From small pouches to big ones if you need to carry your supplies with you.Such as ammo food and drinks. And distributed among npc's. 2:survival mod where drinking eating and sleeping is a must. 3:Day night cycle. 4:Timescale same as real world. 5:Make this world alive.NPC's must atleast react when i rob them blind. Also move around All of them must be doing their stuff.Repairing guarding working. Again this world same is aboba. Its dead. Also may be obsidian will give players some toolkit or something to make full scale mods. Games where modding is not allowed die quickly.I mean people still play STALKER. Save this game if you care.

  5. Happened to me today twice during the tutorial as well. I'm playing on Xbox Series S and didn't notice anything particular prior to it

  6. The math is a just bit off, but you are right that the perk is giving too much additional range. Since I enjoy having extra range on all my guns I suggest that they alter the tooltip to say +125% weapon range. 32.5 * 1.5 = 48.75 for the 50% increase. 32.5 * 2.25 = 73.125 which is a 125% increase.

  8. When this popped up in my recommendations, I thought it was a fan trailer. But damn... it's real. And the Pathologic guys are involved. Still gotta get into Pathologic (tried once), but a few WTFs seem guaranteed. ALSO: Project Shadowglass is a love letter to classic immersive FPS stealth sims such as Thief, Deus Ex, and System Shock, built with unique 3D pixel ar..... SHUT UP AND TAKE MY FIRST BORN!!!!1 Project Shadowglass bei Steam

  10. Luckily I'm a bit the vice versa. Don't care much about pixel perfection or ever bigger screens anymore (even the insanely pretty Kingdom Come 2 oft gets flak due to its lack of HW raytracing and thus less than "pixel perfect" lighting, shadows and reflections). Even pop-ins, I don't care about. Also, the best game I've played last year, and that's no joking: I think the only way I'd put more focus on all that again would be the widespread adoption of VR. After all, the promise of VR is that you're "forgetting you're just playing a stupid video game". But unlike Looking Glass (Thief!), most games are moving into the opposite direction, with cluttered HUDs, tons of arrows, tourist guides, etc. Making it IMPOSSIBLE to mask that you are, indeed, just playing a "stupid" video game. Speaking of which: Are "dummy" markers making you sleep walk and never mentally engage with the game world, quests and characters in TOW 2 optional this time? Or is it all similar to Bloodlines 2, where the next fetch quest is giving you, the elite eldritch vampire spawn, a mandatory in-game GPS system: "Deliver this package to the location 239 metres away, PRESTO, Mr. Bloody Heffernan."
