I'm having the same issue. My counter initially stopped at 20%, then wouldn't increase no matter how many enemies I killed during rainbow spectrum mode, then it went up to 40% and won't increase further. I'm on playstation and my username is TheIncredibleHim. This is ruining my experience. -

I think there's been a pretty consistent trend of "Trump on ballot = wild overperformance for GOP, Trump not on ballot = mild to severe underperformance for GOP" ever since 2016, so it's not too surprising. The man certainly knows how to rev up those baskets of deplorables, that's for sure. The good news is that Trump can't appear on a national ballot again...for the moment. With this particular Supreme Court, I genuinely do not feel 100% confident that that will hold, though I'm at like maybe 80% right now. -

As an update, each of these flaws has since appeared. Sorry, all, but it seems that it really was just happenstance that they appeared incredibly commonly early on and then took many hours once I actually wanted them. -
Mapping a Democratic sweep across Virginia, New Jersey and New York for those who cannot get past the paywall, in both new jersey and virginia, every county shifted towards democrats in the governor races including big shifts in heavily latino counties which were trump wins in 2024. in the scotus tariff arguments, ... 'cause J. Gorsuch has been in a coma for the past +9 months. in any event, the so-called textualist majority o' the Court appears skeptical o' trump's claims that he has authority to impose his tariff scheme. HA! Good Fun!

Hi, I've played through The Archive, repaired the AI, cleared the whole area, reclaimed Spireton, and processed the Rift Data. Right after processing the Rift Data I get this objective to "Hand Over the Calcaduceus" right outside the AI's Room. But there is no NPC there. I'm confident I've done every single objective leading up to Processing The Rift Data: 1. I checked my quest journal and apparently I still need to repair The Archive despite already doing so. (Cleared Underlands, Punching Cards, and Reactor) 2. Reclaimed Spireton through stealth without the Order's help. But this was after I've cleared the Archive of protectorates. The leader NPC in Spireton doesnt trigger any conversation to get them going into the Archive. 3. I can still proceed with the Main Quest. Got the conversation trigger from VAL about Horizon Point reappearing. 4. However I am proceed to get Auntie's Choice and The Order to ally with me for this final quest due to being unable to proceed past ""Hand Over the Calcaduceus" objective (I opted and succeded in forming the alliance prior to this. I've helped Auntie get a body too) Supporting screenshots attached.

Temporary Stat Boosts I'd like to be able to temporarily boost a stat (e.g., Speech) to get me over the hump if I'm short and it gives me an opportunity to experience a different story. While I'm aware that there are some items in the game that will likely do this, they're difficult to suss out, and I seem to recall from The Outer Worlds that there were some food items that would do this. Companion Attire In the original Outer Worlds, I could equip the Companions with different gear. It looks like that in 2, you have specific set upgrade packs you can apply if you find them. I'd love to be able to go ahead and just equip them with different gear that I acquire during my adventurs. -
Try talking to all your other companions? She had a speech bubble appear above her head after a conversation at Westport for me, when I spoke to her there were no new speech options and it did not go away, but Niles also had a speech bubble and after I talked to Niles, it went away for both of them.

I wish that were the issue, but unfortunately the mods don't appear at all and aren't even viewable in the workbench despite having dozens in my inventory (as well as dozens of weapons). I'm in the process of uninstalling and reinstalling the game right now so hopefully that will fix it.

OK, one Redditor has this to say: "The only magnified weapons are those labeled sniper rifle. The other optic attachments are just misleading with their multipliers... they don't multiply anything. " So, if we believe this Redditor, then the magnification designations are fake on non-sniper rifles - they don't do anything. So as an example, the Prism Repeating Rifle I found has the "Prism Sight". The description reads: "2.0x Magnification. Increases weakspot damage and reduces weapon sway." But, the 2.0x Magnification doesn't work, so the only advantage is the increased weakspot damage and reduced weapon sway. If this is true, it REALLY begs the question why they bothered to include a false magnification factor.

As I understand it, most weapon mods are specific to particular types of weapons. So as an example, you might have a melee grip mod, but it only fits on a Telescoping Staff, and not on any other melee weapon. You need to read the description of the particular mod to see what TYPE of weapon it will fit. While I appreciate the Devs wanting to add some Verisimilitude to the game (in real life, a "grip" for a knife is going to be quite different from one that fits on an impact hammer), but it would have been easier for us players if they had use a color code, or some other "quick identify" method to understand what fits on what.

I cannot toggle from first person, to third person view. I was having difficulty figuring out which button(s) to press in order to toggle because it isn't mentioned anywhere in the CODEX that I could find. I finally watched a YouTube video, and apparently you need to press and hold the pad "button". But that doesn't work either. 1. Is there something I need to change in the SETTINGS menu to activate Third Person? 2. Am I pressing/holding the wrong button? What is the correct action to take in order to toggle?

There are times when I am unable to throw grenades/distraction devices. Sometimes I can restore the ability to throw if I do some/any/all of the following: 1) Crouch and Stand up again. 2) Press/hold the Triangle button to open the weapon wheel and select a different grenade. 3) Open the inventory window and move a different grenade type from inventory into a grenade slot. But, most of the time I cannot restore the ability to throw. I have tried pres/hold R1 in order to see the grenade trajectory - no trajectory arc appears. I have tried a quick press/release of R1 in order to just blindly throw the grenade and it does not work. I have posted this on r/theouterworlds and r/theouterworlds2 and I have one Redditor is reporting the same problem and they are playing on XBox. (they didn't specify exactly which platform)

In the US, many people vote for a particular party because they don't like the other side. Given the political division in this nation, they are too far apart for many people to switch. That doesn't necessarily mean they like the direction of their own party. Personally, at this point I don't particularly favor either party; they have both diverged too far from the mainstream.

I've had this speech bubble above Inez's head for as long as I can remember. I've exhausted all her dialog, and there's nothing else to talk about, but it's still there. I restarted the game, I went to older saves, talked and talked and talked with her, I sent her back to the ship, pretty much everything I can think of, but nothing will fix this.
