Danny Campbell started following Disappearing Weed Stem
-
Has anybody else noticed that weed stem disappears after being cut down? Sometimes I’ll go on a weed stem run and cut down 4/5 dandelions and only get 6 stem from it. I’ve also noticed it with the husky weed but less commonly. is there a fix that anyone has found for this or are the developers aware of this problem? thank you in advance to anyone who responds.

Grounded 2 Feedback
INFINITExxALPHA replied to apoisonedgift's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
Playgrounds. PLEASE ADD THIS EARLY ON! It would be amazing to see ALL the game assets available for the player to work with. Especially the little things you might not think about. The moss pieces that are on the roots of the tree. The insect corpses scattered around the map. A piece of the tree trunk would be great. A completely flat, smooth piece of dirt for leveling land is another thing. It's all in the details. More playground prefab options. A completely flat, barren playground is a must. A playground with just a huge underground tunnel network would be cool. A playground with a huge empty pond. A playground like a forest, covered in trees, roots, and tunnels. A void playground with only a floating clump of dirt in the center. In the first game, we could not delete bug spawns from the backyard or add reoccurring bug spawns to it. So if I wanted to delete the spiders around the tree and replace them with something else, I couldn't do it. All of the bugs just revert back to their original positions upon playing and any new bugs placed wouldn't be there. Giving the player complete control over bug spawns in design mode would change the gamemode in a great way. -

ClaytonDM started following Lantern slot or Illuminating trinket
-
If I could have 1 feature added to the game, it would be a source of light that doesn't take up a weapon slot. Some players have suggested allowing Buggies to provide light, but I think there would be a lot of proximity and pathing issues that would make it unreliable compared to a touch. My first preference would be to add a new item slot specifically for a light source (e.g. Lantern slot). I understand there is an argument against this due to Grounded being a survival game, so another option would be to use another item like a Trinket or Helmet. In any case, alternative light sources would be a massive QoL change for players that want to play in their preferred combat style all the time, not just during the day while outside.

Grounded 2 Feedback
INFINITExxALPHA replied to apoisonedgift's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
Building underground. It would be cool if you gave us the ability to build in more of the underground tunnels around the map. Almost all of them say NO LAND RIGHTS. It's understandable for certain places like anthills and various insect dens, but some of the underground parts would make great base locations. A lot of them are empty or only being used to house something like a milk molar. -
Grounded 2 Feedback
INFINITExxALPHA replied to apoisonedgift's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
The mounts are very easy to glitch out. They can fall inside the ground or rocks. Sometimes the game doesn't register your mount, so it says you can pull another one out, but doing that will delete the one you pulled out. A lot of the time, telling the buggy to stay doesn't work. For instance, I tell my buggy to stay back so I can chop grass, but my buggy walks after me and interrupts my activity. This is like being blocked in a room by a follower who won't move in other video games (Serana). The building in Grounded 2 is too restricting. For some blueprints, you can only place them from a certain angle (i.e. hatchery) and even after they are placed, you can't build it unless you are looking at that angle. Not being able to clip blueprints into the ground is a serious issue for builders, myself included. When a tiny dirt clump gets in the way of your base expansion and you can't build anything there, it restricts the player to building floating bases or finding flat land. Also, there should be a radius where resources AND BUGS (PLEASE!) do not respawn around blueprints and structures. Being able to block certain bug spawns by building around them would give players a lot more freedom for bases. Multi-player latency and rubber banding is a common problem, especially when multiple buggies are out at once. Durability on Whoa mode feels way too low. If I die three times, all of my early game gear is broken. This can make the game feel like a death run loop. -
Omni tools must go
MotionlessChris replied to Red spray316's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
For xbox players having issues with the omni tool being the X button, I found a work around with the Elite Controller and using one of the paddles. Have a single paddle assign for "E", then in the game unbind the omni tool from X to use the paddle to chop/break items. -
I’m in the branches at the checkpoint area with the paper girl pointing at the door. I fell from branches launched back to save stuck on black loading screen, reset Xbox multiple times still stuck. I’ve played quite a bit so far and I can say also the game would crash every 30 minutes of playing. I understand it’s still in development but a lot of time was lost. Love the game! - Ramiix#3449 - Xbox

Me and our group of friends got stuck at this quest as well, but we FIXED it. We had to kill bees to complete the quest but it spawned way in the sky. We had to build a massive stair case then shot him with a bow took a while and thought it wouldn't work but after getting close enough it did. I can't post a picture because it has to be smaller than 512kb but it's really tall...

Story Progress Stuck
xImAzazel replied to Ahati27's topic in Grounded 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
People have been just building (tedious, i know) to the bee and they say if you just keep building up to it, you will get to it. I have this same issue except it happened with the milk molar stash. I cannot find that ORC spider anywhere and i am soft locked till they fix it. -
LadyGray92 started following Support archetype
-
I love grounded one and was actually in that early access as well. I'm so excited to see how grounded 2 matures as a game. I would love a more dedicated support archetype for playing with groups. I often play with a full party of four (my children and spouse) and would love a cleric/healer/support character that buffs allies/debuffs enemies/heals. I know you can psuedo get this with healbasa and some of the weapon mutations, but a weapon that centered around that would be really fun.

Hold the buggy whistle and it brings up a radial of your buggies that you can select one to call from home.

I've definitely had a few headaches in trying to omnitool something in cluttered environs or situations and missing the old tool system a bit. I do enjoy the omnitool as a space saver though, especially with the UI. But there's definitely a few too many things wrestling over the Contextual Use key (be it E, or X, or whatever) and its fill pretty muddy. What I would like to see as a potential quick-ish fix is to be able to equip the omnitool as an actual, equippable for the hotbar (with, more hotbars getting added too like Grounded 1) so that if I'm just in harvesting mode, especially for -clay-, I don't have to risk accidentally sipping nasty water cause the same prompt for sip is the same for shovel is the same for mount my buggy who decided to walk directly ontop of me while I was trying to look at the clay node.

The All Things Political Topic - What's Going On...?
Zoraptor replied to Lexx's topic in Way Off-Topic
There is no international obligation to aid in ethnic cleansing though. Everyone knows that if Palestinians go anywhere outside of Palestine they'll never be allowed back and will be there permanently- we've got nearly 80 years of history demonstrating that fact. Doesn't matter anyway, it's an existential matter for Sisi and no matter what is offered or what his theoretical obligations might have been he cannot accept it. It's hard enough keeping the lid on sympathy for the Palestinians without being seen to obviously and actively aid the policies of Netanyahu, Ben Gvir and Smotrich against his own country's interests. He'd get Sadat'ed by someone in the military, and be extremely lucky if that was all he got since a lot of his population would happily Gaddafi him instead. Yeah, no credible way to spin it, instead of no way at all. Of course there's been no credible way to spin a lot of stuff that Israel has done but that hasn't stopped their rubbish being reported without pointing out that it's rubbish, until now. -
I've found if you put them in a crafted Nest it will save them. But, still the issue of when you log out, they disappear from your selection wheel. You then have to go to the Nest and find the one you were using and pull it back out. It will then show up in your wheel. My issue is if you logout, crash, or even die, the buggy will be back in the Nest and not linked to you anymore. You then have to go BACK to the Nest and pull them out yet again, which is a pain when you rode it all the way across the map, just to crash, come back in, and walk all the way back just to get your ant again.

I thought we had this issue but when my friend hit it with an arrow it aggro to him and it was fine. Seems finicky. I suggest using the stun bombs -

Duckplague started following Mosquitos And blue butterflys
-
My friend and I tried to build a base in a location that we didn't realise was close to mosquitos(not a big deal because they're pretty easy to deal with if theres only one or two) but any time a mosquito would fly over our base and aggro it would cause every butterfly near by (around 2-4) to aggro on us to completely totalling our base and trapping us is a death loop unless we respawn at an outpost. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and is it intended for butterflys to aggro with mosquitos. I'm pretty sure they're a passive mob
