  1. I don't really care, but I wonder if they're actually making money with all these woke versions of classics? Because they keep putting them out, and I keep seeing people hating on them. Saw a trailer for The King's Man today. That looks like a movie worth seeing.
  2. I belong to a roleplaying group. We jump around a lot. D&D, Pathfinder, Cyberpunk, Kult, the Witcher, etc. etc. I have no doubt my DM could tell you which modules are best, but I'm too much of a casual to know Well, it's really worth it if you find the right group of people (like any activity, I guess?)
  3. I've just finished Sekiro. I love challenging games where you die hundreds of times but keep coming back for more. Currently contemplating what to play next. I'm thinking of buying They Are Billions tonight. Can anyone recommend?
  4. @algroth: Thanks for giving such a detailed answer! Much appreciated! Haha, after reading your review, I think I'm going to give it a pass unless it goes on sale with major discount.
  5. Hello, chaps. Is it worth getting this game? Obviously, I love RPGs, but I've also played so many that I don't want to get a game unless its very good or offers something unique. There seems to be a lot of classes, which appeals to me, but how does it play compared to, say, Deadfire?
  6. Sounds like bad design. Although, it could be one of those cases where they made secrets intentionally obscure to sell strategy guides. I believe that used to be a thing. Anyways! I got Sekiro last night. Time to see what all the hype is about...
  7. Honestly, I wouldn't have cared about their tactics if I could see that damn battle. The whole of season 8 episode 3 looked like a black screen to me. Epic fail.
  8. You finished what's considered the very worst of the DMC series? You're a more patient man than I.
  9. Playing Katana Zero now. It's good stuff. You buy it for the sword swinging violence, you end up playing it for the story and humor.
  10. Werewolf game? This one: https://www.gamingscan.com/werewolf-the-apocalypse-release-date-and-news/
  11. It certainly does look like they were setting up an "Eothas" trilogy. However, given Deadfire's less than stellar sales, PoE3 may never happen.
  12. Well, this should be obvious, but Obsidian is tinkering with the game because they're genuinely trying to make it better. The changes are most likely based on player feedback and statistics. And while it might be frustrating that it takes years for a game to reach it's "final form" these days, Obsidian is a wonderful company in that they're constantly pumping out free updates (a rarity in today's world of monetization madness) So, don't you think you're overreacting a little? It's hardly unplayable (or a "piece of ****") because your cipher was nerfed. Why don't you roll a new class and experience the magic afresh?
  13. Have you finished the original? Because I believe you need an end of game save file to carry things over.
  14. Haha, well, not for recommending it here. But I've done some JPN->ENG translations for their website and press releases, so I'm technically part of their PR team. Of course, it hasn't released overseas yet, so technically there's no legal way to watch it unless you're living in Japan at the moment.
  15. Greetings Gentlemen. Do any of you like Cowboy Bebop? If so, you should consider watching Shinichiro's latest anime: Carole & Tuesday. It's a different genre, but the soundtrack is awesome, and it arguably takes place on the same world as Bebop. (Yes, I'm getting paid to advertise...)
