It is a steep price in the beginning, but after some time playing you will be swimming in gold. It's a good thing that you don't get to run around with all your party in legendary gear from the start! It forces some choices at first, and in the end you can have the stuff you want anyways. Great design imo.

15k for upgrading the weapon? That sounds a bit high i think.

Just wait until you have to upgrade something to Legendary. 60k for Whispers of the Endless Paths. Another 30k before that to bring it up to Superb quality. 

And still, that's not actually a lot. The game throws money and magic items at you like crazy. I even bought the most expensive ship despite not giving a crap about the naval portion of the game just because I had excess cash. Keep in mind I'm not even at the end game yet.

There are some high level area that is full of legendary weapons, so stupid that it ruins the economic system of the game.

Finished the game 300,000k in the bank

 

But I couldn't upgrade anything I wanted BECAUSE I HAD NO ****ING ADRA BAN

killing the magma dragon in ashens maw gives you 4 items which allow you to upgrade 4 pieces of items to legendary for free

 

not sure if the water drake drops the same (didnt kill him)

Someone knows where to buy adra ban?
