dunehunter
I still didn’t get why sword + firearm get dual wielding recovery time bonus. Such a weird design...
Dr. Hieronymous Alloy
Is there a reason why you're doing ranged and melee in separate threads?
AndreaColombo
@dunehunter: getting the bonus to recovery with Kalakoth’s Minor Blights is one of the few fun things left in the game. Why remove it? "Time is not your enemy. Forever is." — Fall-From-Grace, Planescape: Torment "It's the questions we can't answer that teach us the most. They teach us how to think. Why remove it? Just feel it’s weird that pistol with a free offhand is slower than pistol with a sword in offhand when reloading bullet..... Magic?? Boeroer
Yeah it's totally bonkers. However, when getting no bonus whatsoever nobody would ever use something like melee + ranged dual wielding like the piratesque sabre + pistol. Which would be a shame as well. Maybe one could come up with a seperate and interesting style for that. 1 Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods

It's also weird that the Gunner talent from the Ranger class, which is supposed to make you reload faster, actually makes you reload 25% slower.
Boeroer
They have problems with it since Deadfire is in the making. I guess at some point they changed the term from "reload time" ot "reload speed" and the guy responsilbe for implementing the numbers got really confused (maybe he's a berserker whose frenzy got triggered): The hat in Deadfire did extend reloading time as well as the soulbound arbalest in the PoE Deadfire Pack. Some weapon modals also did the opposite from what they are supposed to do, so is Gunner in Deadfire. With reloading time (or is it speed? ) it's all a big mess atm. divx
Does Two Weapon Style from the Fighter tree apply to dual wielding range weapons or only melee?
