You haven't played BG2 if you didn't find Lilarcor. :)

I'll do it, for a turnip.

Oh, man. You missed out. On top of wanting to kill everything everywhere, Lilarcor is *REALLY* powerful and is a berserking sword. You put it on Minsc and he just turns into a freaking crazy awesome chaotic good meatgrinder.

I always hoped that hidden somewhere I'd also find his brother, the +12 Hackmaster.

Also there's The Justifier in Planescape: Torment. Not a sword, but a pretty neat talking mace with some interesting and humorous interactions to it. Easy to miss though.

Every sword can be a talking sword if you do a voice for it.

Totally, I thought this was the most memorable thing about the game. It's always the first thing falling into my mind when BGII comes up.

I loved everything about it. It's just great that you get Lilarcor from a quest - and a quest you can miss no less. Then it's a powerful, TALKING sword and lots of the stuff it says is really funny. Like most people (I assume) I gave it to Minsc. A crazy guy using a crazy sword. Unforgettable.

I... never used it. I found it way too annoying.
