What are you talking about? Legion added MUCH more than they announced.

Oh, nothing. I'm just a bitter former WoW player who really enjoyed the game's aerial combat, the underwater raid and the Path of the Titans progression system... ;)

Granted Blizz has gotten better by simply promising less, in the past the game boxes had screenshots of features on them that didn't make it into the game.

Those seem minor to me. Not just for WoW (WoD infamously got cut in half and redesigned) but for games in general. Minigames and glyphs-under-a-different-name aren't much compared to the stuff most devs pull, especially since cut stuff is generally compensated for i.e. Abyssal Maw/Firelands raids being consolidated into a larger Firelands Raid. Certainly not enough to hold a Molyneux style grudge IMO. Saying you quit Pandaland after launch because of it makes little sense to me because that had the best post-launch support of all expansions, at least up until WoD got delayed. Now, if you'd experienced WoD... Then I'd get it.

Why is there a bunch of medieval European armor in Japan?

Because Nioh is about western samurai.

Because you start in London.  And afterwards you can always change the appearance of katanas into western sword if you want, same with armor.

The working title was Geralt Does Japan before they settled for Nioh.

Ah, I see, well that was a misunderstanding then. I didn't quite MoP because of the lack of support from Blizzard but because of the dailies insanity after an already poor earlier expansion. :)

Planet Coaster is getting a free anniversary update: http://www.eurogamer...iversary-update

It's times like this that I wish I were still a bona fide PC gamer. :)

Did I miss the discussion about Runic getting shut down?

I don't think so. :(  Torchlight is the only game I played that was released by those folks but yeah, it's pretty sad.

It's sad.  The Torchlight games aren't the best loot em ups I've ever played, but they are solid, fun experiences.  Hopefully the Runic devs find a home somewhere else, there is talent at that studio.

I'll have to give Torchlight 2 another playthrough sometime in the near future.

Never did finish Torchlight 2, canceled my pre-purchase of Hob because the team was either always missing or not on the same page when I did talk to them. Now I know why.

Rip. I'm sure there will be some angry fans because they won't get Torchlight 3. When you compare Hob's staff with Torchlight's staff, the names are very different. So it's not nearly thr same team as when Runic first opened its doors. I can only hope that grace gives an opportunity to brings the original Torchlight members back together to form a new studio and make a new diablo-clone. Which can very well happen.

I'm one of those few who for some reason enjoyed Torchlight 1 (original version from way way back) more than 2, but I still very occasionally play TL2 for a few hours. Sorta sad news about Runic tho. Not that it's surprising, either, this day and age.

Why do you guys think it'd be better with bigger teams ?

Because that's the type of FPS I prefer. I don't play highly competitive shooters. I play the kind where there's explosions and swarms of guys shooting at each other at a checkpoint, while another crew of like half a dozen try to flank from a different corridor.
