I renamed the file to "Forums-TempleofEothas.savegame", copied it and your profile name showed up under saves with only this save in it. Initially when I ran the game my continue and load game were available again. I ran the saved file and all was working until i exited the game and came back in to run the same save game again, this time nothing! Thanks for trying to fix the issue with me... Im almost at the verge of giving up.

April 9, 201510 yr Author I am hopeful but losing faith! I cant wait to play this game without any discrepencies in the (hopefully near) future. The devs still havent gotten back to me... understandable since there seem to be a lot of diverse issues with PoE.
April 9, 201510 yr The devs left a little note on the patch notes for 1.04 apologizing for their seeming lack of responsiveness. They are really busy. I can believe it.

I have recurrence of the issue as of latest patch. I think it's just the number of saved files. I go in, delete a few, right as rain. If you just stick to keeping maybe 4 or 5 instead of dozens like me, you'll be fine.
April 24, 201510 yr I only keep 4 or 5 and it's still doing it - I'd thought it fixed as it didn't happen for a couple of days, then it came back. April 24, 201510 yr I've had it happen a few times, but never consistently. Usually, I just need to restart the game when it happens. It appears at random, so it's hard to pin down.

April 7, 20187 yr I tried all the suggestions then it occurred to me that it was hanging occasionally on startup so I looked in the Steam library and it was stuck on trying to synchronize the save games with Steam Cloud Saves. So I turned that off and it fired back up no issues, all my save games appeared again. Try that out-- personally, I use OneDrive to synchronize my PC save games anyway so it's not a loss for me.
