Endless Paths level 13 is uncompletable. [MAJOR BUG]


Question

On level 13, you're apparently supposed to speak to one of the spirits to get the password for the door.

 

However it's not possible to actually ask about the password. After clearing the entire level, and looking all the things, all of the spirits that you can click on just give you the same lines about how they're not noticing you.

 

You can say "Hello?" and you just get a message about them not responding. There's no options with any of them to ask for the password. Which makes opening the door completely impossible.

 

This is a MAJOR bug that needs an immediate fix.

I have progressed my main quest to where i have learned the language.

I can now speak with the ghost on level 13 and he does give me the password.

When i try the password on the door

It says Traitors may not pass and im STILL stuck!  :-( ....

 

Also the door in the ghost room wont open. the button for it isnt clickable and i CANT advance my Sword quest either....

 

Somebody said to bypass it by installing the IE Mod ( and using Jump console cheat ) but it is not accessable without paying and registering.

 

Anybody know if and when this will get fixed?

 

Did you speak to both ghosts and exhaust all conversation options?  The other ghost is south of the door.

This is a different door related to Maerwald's soul and it's only available if you absorbed the knowledge.

Get this. I have already finished Heritage Hill Quest, so my character is familiar with Engwathian language. I was able to speak with the ghost (and get the password), and to open the "secret" door. However I can't open the talking door. All I can say, is that I am a servant of Od Nuya, which doesn't give me the permission to enter. What the hell? Anybody?

 

(Also I did exaust the dialog with the other ghost, he is not able to speak to me thou)

There's multiple ghosts on the entire map. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but just make sure you talk to all the ghosts and listen to what they have to say. It's similar to an Indian Jones and the Fate of Atlantis puzzle.

If you are still stumped, you should try clicking all the options when you look to open the talking door.

If you are still stuck, you can PM me if you don't mind spoilers.

Yeah, I don't mind that it's tied to an outside plot point, I just wish there were some indication that it was.  Maybe a journal entry saying something like "Unless we learn to understand what they're saying, we'll never get past that door," or something like that.

I agree that there should be some indication.

Also, the hidden door that wouldn't open unless you absorb Maerwald's knowledge issue bothers me too. 

I was scouting and trying to detect the hidden switch for a while. Didn't know that I had to absorb Maerwald's knowledge beforehand for that. 

Just wish that there was some indication that it was tied to it.

im only speaking about that table clicking room. i have completed all the other levels of Nua and cant get the last part of the blade so the quest is dead.

Where is Heritage Hill?

It's a district in Defiance Bay. The quest you need to complete is part of the main quest line, so if you continue with that you'll hit it eventually.

 

Ah boo. I've been trying to get as much done without advancing the main quest as possible. :p

 

Man, you got me all scared about a "major bug"... and it seem not to be a bug at all.

 

Well, at least I don't have to worry about proceeding with Od Nua. I have done the tower. Thanks to whomever posted the truth about this here.

Help please i also have the same problem.

 

I completed undead Heritage quest and learnt the Language.

I spoken to the Spirit in the lower left corner he said i should pledge to kill etc etc ...

 

I went to the spirit in the top right corner but it doesn t say anything..

When i go back at the scripted door no option to pledge appears :(

 

 

Anyone can help?
