janmars
Really pleased to see how awesome Pillars of Eternity looks on my super-widescreen monitor. So many developers fail to support these monitors, so thank you Obsidian for doing an awesome job. Edited March 26, 2015 by janmars
Pidesco
Outstanding! Is that 1080p or 1440p? Now to convince the wife that an 800€ 21:9 monitor is essential for our home. Edit: Moved to a more appropriate location. Edit: Moved to a more appropriate location. It's in 1080p. Would love to get a 1440p...but was bit too much of a stretch. Interested to see those new 5k ultra-wide ones though... :D
jedolley
I agree. I have the Dell 34" and love that I was able to run the game @ 3440x1440 and it looks amazing!
janmars
I agree. I have the Dell 34" and love that I was able to run the game @ 3440x1440 and it looks amazing! It's just awesome to look at some of the village areas and landscapes. So much detail, and to think with Baldurs Gate I wanted to run in 640x480 so bad, but my PC couldn't handle it so I was stuck at a far lower resolution. Ulfghuld
I would love to get a 3440x1440 screen, but unsure my wife is going to approve the costs. Would I be dissapointed with 2560x1080? Edited April 9, 2015 by Ulfghuld
Falkon Swiftblade
Oh man, I almost cried watching you try to navigate the ui. You were supposed to choose next under the male or female option to choose your race and culture. You may want to redo that off screen and start again. Looks great though, thanks for sharing. LadyCrimson
Maybe I missed something, I didn't see a screenshot and/or video posted by the OPIt's a YouTube video embed. Sometimes the forum (or maybe it's just my Firefox, or a combo, or...) wigs out a bit and they don't show for me, too. Usually closing/restarting the browser fixes it for a while, until it happens again. “Things are as they are. Aron Times
Ah, I can see it now. Didn't realize that it wasn't a screenshot, but a YouTube video. I had ScriptBlock blocking just about everything on my other computer, which resulting in the video not showing up.

Ulfghuld
I just got approval last night to save up for the 34" 3440x1440 curved monitor. Now to wait and see if the Acer model comes out with G/Sync and is affordable! Maybe I will be able to play the Expansion on my new monitor this fall!
