wolfdyne
So Walmart pre-orders for the Sims 4 get an exclusive pack of gum! I can't believe this! I know it's late in development, would you guys be willing to put that in for Backers? After seeing what the gaming world could be, getting gum is a deal breaker. http://simsvip.com/2014/08/15/the-sims-4-walmart-exclusive-pre-order-bonus-content/
Marceror
Wouldn't it be easier just to run down to your local supermarket or liquor store and pickup a pack of gum yourself? Qiushui
I agree. No gum, no deal. Now, who has the pitchforks?
Leferd
In all seriousness, I'd rather not have stale bubble gum like those I found when opening up a pack of Topps baseball cards. Humanoid
To be fair, such an heirloom would likely never be opened, let alone consumed, except as an ostentatious display of wealth. 3 L I E S T R O N GL I V E W R O N G
ManifestedISO
In Utah, USA, there are no corner liquor stores, no booze in grocery stores. The state controls and manages distribution of liquor by region, called State Liquor Stores. Closing time, 10pm, closed Sundays. The devil invented it, no reason to make temptation convenient. Marceror
Yeah, Obsidian should totally go out and buy gum for $70,000 people and ship it to them. That would be an awesome use of backer donations! Humanoid
So are only these state liquor stores permitted to sell gum in Utah? L I E S T R O N GL I V E W R O N G

Marceror
Ben N Jerry's? A quart of that has the making of a good time, albeit with a healthy slice of guilt the following morning. Karkarov
I will take a pack of gum with my game thanks much. Whats with all the tops baseball card hate though? The gum in those packs was great! Leferd
They were terrible in 1989. ...I still chewed on them though. 2 "Things are funny...are comedic, because they mix the real with the absurd." - Buzz Aldrin."P-O-T-A-T-O-E" - Dan Quayle
ManifestedISO
No, only booze. No cigarettes, no lottery tickets, nothing ancillary to having a good time. Coffee? Tea? Mountain Dew? Not at state stores. Caffeine is widely available in all forms elsewhere. And gum. At one point, possibly still, Utah ranked number one in ice cream consumption per capita. All Stop. On Screen. Humanoid
They were lucky in that it turns out that the Topps gum was found to be the only man-made material strong enough to be used to fill in the cracks in the streets and buildings in the aftermath of the quake. Freshock
Wow, that must be the worst pre-order bonus I've ever seen. Maybe Obsidian could ship the game with a live beetle pet to those who pre-ordered. 2 My YouTube

Silent Winter
Maybe they could hide the live beetle INSIDE the gum! ^Like a kinder-surprise but with gum? Hmmm, maybe if Adam had used the gum on the beetles, they'd have been too slow to attack - is that what he used on the ogre in the 2nd vid? Leferd
Maybe they could hide the live beetle INSIDE the gum! That's just vile. Delete your post before Feargus decides it's a good idea.
