milczyciel Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 So, here's the question - how does one force himself into "doing something about it" or "getting his ass up" while at the same time he doesn't care about near anything at almost every possible level? That's one vicious cycle isn't it? From where I stand, it seems only chems could do the trick, as they are both easy to "do" (thus not violating ones "extreme whatever" attitude) and does not provoke frustration and/or fury as all that talking about growing a pair does. But I suppose one can't get them without prescription, which leads to the psychiatrist... and so the cycle begins anew. "There are no good reasons. Only legal ones." - Ross Scott It's not that I'm lazy. I just don't care.

Wouldn't be bad if it made sense to begin with. Why has elegance found so little following? It makes perfect sense as I am showing you I understand how important you Canadians take your wildlife and more importantly how relevant your pets are, especially Moose, to your lifestyles. Take that Mr. depression, the harder you try to bring me down the harder I fight. Edited March 28, 2014 by Woldan I gazed at the dead, and for one dark moment I saw a banquet.

Walsingham Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Grumpy, Listless, Unintrested in anything, bored, want to cry, minor suicidal ideations.... I think i may be depressed... oh well.... mine as well wait it out As TrueNeutral has already said it is a HUGE mistake to think that depression is sadness or that you have to feel sad to be depressed. I guess I'd take a little of column A and column B on this one. Getting laid and having a drink and some good food and sunshine may not fix the problem but they shouldn't be dismissed. However, I'd say it's a bit like having a soothing lemon drink and some paracetamol when you have a cold - like I am now. They make you feel better. They don't cure you. Finding someone who is qualified to talk you through a fix is the official line I have to say. Unofficially I'd add that achieving measurable goals - even sculpting or walking or helping other people - is what will really fix things. 1 "It wasn't lies. Take that Mr. depression, the harder you try to bring me down the harder I fight. Yes, getting out in the mountains on a long hike (or bike trip) can help lift the spirits. A long bout of repetitive, mindless trudging, while de-stressing from all the magnificent surroundings and the thin clean air. Spend a night in a remote bed-and-breakfast then enjoy a hearty meal before heading back. It gets your mind off things and helps you feel alive. 1 "It has just been discovered that research causes cancer in rats."
