kgambit Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Back to normal now. Are you sure? I just tried and this message is still popping up: "NOTICE: This domain name expired on 09/17/2013 and is pending renewal or deletion."
Labadal Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 It turns out the link in the Op is old, new domain it seems. Use this instead. http://eternity.gamepedia.com/Main_Page
kgambit Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 It turns out the link in the Op is old, new domain it seems. Use this instead. http://eternity.gamepedia.com/Main_Page Thanks. That did it.
Lephys Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 The old link would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids! Should we not start with some Ipelagos, or at least some Greater Ipelagos, before tackling a named Arch Ipelago? 6_u
kgambit Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 The old link would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids! That's why we never get invited anywhere. 2
Furism Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Would it be relevant to add a link to the DevTracker somewhere on the wiki? It might be of interrest to some people. 1
kronyth Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Project Eternity now has a community-maintained wiki, courtesy of Ausir; over time, it should grow into a useful source of information to consult and for fans to contribute to. http://eternitywiki.com/Eternity_Wiki The wiki seems to develop nicely, but they can use some expert help in theme design department. From the three projects I follow Wasteland2, Eternity and Numenera this wiki is the least appealing theme wise of the three.

This above still works, but this one is better: http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/
Sensuki Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Might I'd just like to point out that Attributes went under a revision recently and I'm not 100% sure if Might increases the size of your pack anymore, as it was not listed on the New Years Update character sheet. Josh could you confirm/deny that?
johnnyjsj Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Cool! Thanks I want a barbarian yelling "SNEAK ATTACK!" as he comes charging.
Schnibbler467 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Thank You! Googled "I need a new Arcanum" and I found this. So Happy 1
Shane-o Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Thankyou for the wiki and to all that contribute to it :D
Havelok Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 The wiki is going great and is full of info! Keep of the good work everyone.
David Frohman Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 The big question is "Can the community keep the wiki up to date after release, or will we be far too enraptured with actually having the game on our hands to bother writing pages in a wiki"?
constantine Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 The wiki is outdated as of now. Matilda is a Natlan woman born and raised in Old Vailia. She managed to earn status as a mercenary for being a professional who gets the job done, more so when the job involves putting her excellent fighting abilities to good use.
Luckmann Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 The wiki is largely outdated as of forever. I think a lot of people are just waiting for the game to actually be released.
Messier-31 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Quite. I can't recall when I checked the wiki for the last time just because of this It would be of small avail to talk of magic in the air...
Labadal Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 There's not much reason for updating it when there are mechanical changes being made to the game, imo.
Gairnulf Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I've just updated some stuff on the FAQ page. It used to say the game will be released in Dec 2014, no system requirements, etc. BTW, it's time Obsidian updated the system requirements section on their own site Does anybody know if the final game will support map notes? Josh said "Sorry, we don't have that" in his last steam in answer to a question, but I'm not sure if this means it will not be in the final game. The wiki currently states that map notes will be present and links to a crappy forum called somethingawful.com which launches an annoying video and asks me for $10 to show me Josh's post. So if anyone can confirm about map notes, it would be of help. A Custom Editor for Deadfire's Data:

If I recall the last video with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfz0hu8Zjqg ( Pillars of Eternity Gameplay 01/15/15 with Josh Sawyer ) Josh Sawyer was asked about map notes he had to double check, as of right now there was nothing of map notes. However it seemed like map notes may happen or not if they do it could be implemented later on currently not sure about this. You could always go old school and keep some paper and a pen on hand I used to use do that or use word to make notes for references later. 1
Gairnulf Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) You could always go old school and keep some paper and a pen on hand I used to use do that or use word to make notes for references later. Of course, it's always possible whether by hand or by alt-tabbing and writing to a file. I've hardly ever used the feature in BGII, where important spots were already marked, at least when in the city. The FAQ on the wiki contains the question about map notes though, and I wonder if I should change the answer or not. Edited February 20, 2015 by Gairnulf A Custom Editor for Deadfire's Data:
Labadal Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 There are no map notes. It was said on these boards that it wasn't implemented. I don't think we'll get it for final release.
