February 10, 201213 yr How do I comment like he asks? Never negotiate. You will only encourage more acts of terror.
February 11, 201213 yr I feel like kid before christmas, or like a kid that i was in Black Isle days . I really hope they will kickstart this project, they will have my money and I will also persuade a lot of my friends to donate.
February 11, 201213 yr If they do a kickstart project, my money is pretty much guaranteed, how much they get depends on what they would announce.
February 11, 201213 yr Obsidian! SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY I'm an Obsidian representative. Feel free to give me all your money until Chris and Feargus come to collect it.
February 11, 201213 yr They could make a game about watching paint dry on the walls and I still would give them money. Hate the living, love the dead.
February 11, 201213 yr They could make a game about watching paint dry on the walls and I still would give them money. Because the painter guy was blind and the paint itself didn't *know* itself.
February 11, 201213 yr Author And in this thread we see the desperate behavior of pennyless students on the internet. Truly remarkable.
February 12, 201213 yr I commented at least twice. Bet lots of people did too. :> "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
February 12, 201213 yr It would be neat though to maybe have some of those features that were likely in Alien in a fresh project. Horror-ish setting, focus on humans under stress, all that stuff. Listen to my home-made recordings (some original songs, some not): http://www.youtube.c...low=grid&view=0
February 12, 201213 yr True, some of it sounded really nice. And there really aren't any horror rpgs around. Hate the living, love the dead.
February 12, 201213 yr True, some of it sounded really nice. And there really aren't any horror rpgs around. To be fair, mixing the survival horror and RPG genre in ways that work sounds almost unfeasible.
February 12, 201213 yr As unfeasible as someone making a RPG based on South Park? I think it's perfectly doable, it just won't be your average RPG. Hate the living, love the dead.
February 12, 201213 yr How.. how are the things related? The point is that the design goals of your common survival horror and RPG are at odds. It's not that it's impossible, but even if you manage a design that isn't clunky, who would want to play it? Again, I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's def. something that is neither easy to make nor easy to market.
February 12, 201213 yr Isn't Dead Money somewhat of a survival horror? Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin. Tea for the teapot!
