Humodour Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I heard something about this being in development. Anybody have more details?
Azure79 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 A quick Google search resulted in a few articles saying Tim Schafer wanted to make it but has yet to find funding/publisher. Psychonauts 2 would be great.
Tigranes Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I actually abandoned Psychonauts after a few hours - I liked how funny and wacky it was, but platforming was never my forte and it just doesn't interest me unless it's done very simply and very well, a la 2D Mario. Couldn't wade through it. Purkake Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I played it a few years ago and it was still awesome.
Hurlshort Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 It actually made me a bit nauseous, due to the camera movement. But the style was cool.
Walsingham Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Very very important: disable the 'smart' camera. Or you will shriek louder than any known species of monkey. In every other respect, it's just fun. Not work. Fun. The only complication with which is that if you try and forge through it then you will get frustrated. On the other hand if you eventually relax and just see attempt X as yet another chance to enjoy flipping about like a mentalist then it's pure delight. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
Majek Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I'd like a sequel too but this time without having to collect shadows during levels. 1.13 killed off Ja2.
RPGmasterBoo Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 It was a great game. Its also the type of game that doesn't need a sequel. Imperium Thought for the Day: Even a man who has nothing can still offer his life
Humodour Posted November 18, 2010 Author Posted November 18, 2010 It was a great game. Its also the type of game that doesn't need a sequel. It needs a spiritual sequel. End of story. Frankly I don't care if that comes in the form of a literal sequel.
