Portal 2 will be a standalone full-price game with new mechanics and it's own story. Not sure when Ep3 will come out. Rain makes everything better. GreasyDogMeat Posted March 5, 2010 Share Posted March 5, 2010 I think Portal is an example of how important a good ending is. For me, it was an enjoyable game, but the ending ranks up among one of the best I've seen in a game. The final battle, the humor, the ending song just left me very satisfied. When I actually think about it though, most of the game up to that point had just been... ok. Not great or anything, enjoyable but not amazing. Humodour Posted March 6, 2010 Share Posted March 6, 2010 I was just playing Portal again and in the starting level when you get the Portal gun I decided to make a portal on the ground next to the portal on the wall and jump through it. Normally when I do this, I get flung about in a portal loop a few times and then hit the edge of a portal and don't fall in. This time, that didn't happen.
