I think the reasoning behind the the beth forums is because it's technically an expansion for Bethsofts game.

 

technically, KOTOR2 is an expansion for a BioWare game.

Also, I'm gonna make a wildly unfounded prediction about the good guys / bad guys thing here.

I'm guessing in the theme of archetypal greyness, obsidian being who they are, and current world events, this game is gonna about the good and bad of lawlessness and freedom (mobsters running New Vegas) vs the safety and security of a borderline authoritarian republic (NCR).

I got cured from every sickness and virus I ever had in one day. Except the damn cold. I'm hot, throat hurt like hell yesterday, nose is running and to top it all off, the bones in my face (head and right side of jaw) hurt. No idea why.

It's sad though. The "Meet the devs" thread over at the Bethesda forums has probably had more OEI dev posts in this short time than this forum has had since the beginning.
