Matthew Rorie Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 If you have hot, scantily clad booth babes, I'm there. I need a vacation anyhow. Last year's PAX was pretty light on booth babes. Seattle is really awesome place to have a con though. Especially considering this damn heat at the moment. Will be good to get out of the 100 degree heat. Matthew Rorie
WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Hehe, silly farenheit. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
AlphaPro Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Hehe, silly farenheit. I always measure things in celsius becuase it makes me look professional. build a man a fire and he will be warm for a day, but set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Nepenthe Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Hehe, silly farenheit. I always measure things in celsius becuase it makes me look professional. Shouldn't you go Kelvin, then? Nothing like 'Wow, it's over 300 degrees today!' You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions

AlphaPro Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Ive never posted in a single topic (or even looked at them) outside the alpha protocol board, and its gonna stay that way. build a man a fire and he will be warm for a day, but set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

That's okay, if you were a nerd you would have pointed out that you don't refer to Kelvin as "degrees." I think you're safe.
Pidesco Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Ive never posted in a single topic (or even looked at them) outside the alpha protocol board, and its gonna stay that way. Yeah. Purkake Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Bye! So PAX is starting this Thursday. I wonder if there will be any new games announced.
Matthew Rorie Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 So in case anyone wasn't aware of what I was asking for here, check out Sega's blog: http://blogs.sega.com/usa/2009/08/31/sega-...ny-arcade-expo/ Some people might get a chance to go hands-on with the game at PAX. Matthew Rorie

Meh, times are changing. Most people call me a nerd (though I argue I'm a geek...which ironically makes me a nerd ) and I don't care, and enjoy who I am. I also play sports (basketball, hockey, and volleyball), am learning how to play guitar and ride a motorcycle, and am in general pretty active. I can also waste 10 hours straight playing video games!
Syraxis Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) I'm not going, too poor to travel that far at the present time. You're still a nerd for posting in a game forum. No way around it. In the age of facebook and youtube, being a nerd is the next *~*kEwL fAd*~* *hangs head in shame* Edited August 31, 2009 by Syraxis
WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 (edited) I'm not cool and I'm a nerd. Please stop lying to me. alanschu Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Oh indeed, some nerds are not cool for sure.
Gorth Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 It would be nice to go to PAX... but its a bit of a geographical challenge “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
Oner Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Hungary really needs it's own Leipziger Messe so I can try out games too. :c Giveaway list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DgyQFpOJvyNASt8A12ipyV_iwpLXg_yltGG5mffvSwo/edit?usp=sharing What is glass but tortured sand?Never forget! Purkake Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 In addition to all the other surprises apparently PAX also gave out complimentary Swine Flu. Let's hope Matthew is OK.
gnrfan228 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I still haven't heard anything about AP come out from the PAX news... What gives?
Matthew Rorie Posted September 9, 2009 Author Posted September 9, 2009 I still haven't heard anything about AP come out from the PAX news... What gives? People were under an NDA for this event. Matthew Rorie
